Welcome to DANCE TEAM WORLD! Formerly known as Virtual Dance Nationals, we made history as the world’s FIRST 100% online national dance competition for high school dance programs back in 2020 & 2021 during the COVID-19 lockdown. The event was a HUGE success and really brought the dance team community together. My goal is to provide virtual resources and encourage an open dialogue to keep dancers, teachers, choreographers, and dance industry fans united as one big “dance family” as we move forward. While I appreciate most of your comments, I didn’t appreciate you talking through the entire performance ( loudly, I might add). Pause the video and then discuss your thoughts and memories. Just, please, let us hear the music and enjoy this brilliant production.
i saw unreleased footage of the rehearsal for this performance..... the dancers were instructed to react dramatically if the girls dropped their fans after flipping them and were instructed to applaud if they caught them.... you can also hear the sound of applause after they catch the fans and the dancers weren't mic'ed up.... so the only way you would hear an applause soundtrack-byte is if it was already worked into the performance having already been rehearsed... That's common sense.
The show was until last second.... She's not the best singer but she's the best performance... She made Blond Ambition tour and create something like ...after this you girls need to create better shows ... Even when she's not the best singer... She's the biggest seller in the world after The Beatles.... she opened the doors for a lot of people, artists, gay community, she is the real.pop culture... There's only one Queen... The Ultimate Dive... Often imitaded but never duplicated... Madonna
I was lucky enough to be out at the Gay dance clubs and was in Heaven as l both, danced and watched the Handsome men doing their own style and version of Vogue. It really was like being in a Dream as smoke and multi-colored lights made the Dancing That much More Fun! Wonderful fun times! I enjoyed your video very much! Thank you! ♥️🌈♥️🌈♥️🌈♥️🌈🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Also..they were doing that in CORSETS and large stays. And they made it look effortless. From choreography to costuming, lighting, set dressing...the whole thing was masterful and had so many moving parts.
I saw it live the night it happened. I was a Sophomore in high school, and I was mesmerized! I literally had chills watching it and immediately knew I was watching art happen right in front of me. Nothing will ever top this performance. Iconic.

Totally agree with you, but I can see that many who are 20 or 30 today do not give any credit to Mad, but to other younger artists. They criticise her all time because she's old and she did plastic surgeries and they know nothing of her work. Not being negative, it's actually what I see in people I met and in social media.
Did you say you have never watched the Blond Ambition Tour? You def need to do that asap. It's only the concert that changed the game for future pop concerts. The choreo is just off the chain on both the B A T and the Girly Show Tour.
A god awful choreography review of a masterful performance. I expected so much more than "I'm gagging!" and "Look at the movement" from an actual choreographer. Extremely disappointed.
This is such an iconic performance I watch so much I've lost count. I too was a closeted gay boy I was screaming inside. No one will ever top Madonna or this performance. Just absolutely amazing. She definitely does not receive enough recognition. She has changed the way world sounded and the way our world looked. Madonna has definitely raised the bar
I remembered this performance very well I was sitting in the audience 1990 MTV Music Award it was held at Universal Amphitheater and Universal Studios it was such an amazing glamorous evening it was one of her best performances ever ❤
