Being a drummer I'm biased but this could have really been outstanding with someone laying down a nice live swing groove instead of a click counter. Maybe drummer didn't show up or they couldnt find one. Or maybe the stage wasn't big enough. I'll give benefit of the doubt. But Ben uses a drummer a lot and I miss that here.
I love how Ben builds his solos, subtley, slowly, fun to listen to, with a ton of taste. In a "clean" style different from JoeyD's, Ben just has that feel to do it right.
Jazz in contrast to pop music always feels like, going to a different country ,different culture, you have no idea what you'll find there but I love how this music feels way more surprising and with more possibilities. I only managed to do a jazz minor in my studies but I'd love to be in some kind of jazzcombo again.
Preciosa, sentida y equilibrada versión del gran tema cantado por el maravilloso Barry White que tanto escuchábamos hace cuatro décadas. Tras escuchar el tema no me quedó otra alternativa que refrescar el tema y volverlo a tocar. Muchas gracias desde el verano nórdico.
