The video only shows immigrants losing their culture when they come to the United States. It does not discuss how they change the United States when they move here. They are socialist, they change the laws and institutions causing the United States to go from a country of citizens who are independent and free from the government to a country of socialists. It's a changing of the people here and the people coming here. It's not only a changing of people coming here while the people allready here are conserved.
My mom taught me Spanish, in my elementary school, there was two classes for children who are Hispanic, they taught us English and Spanish, it was wonderful 👍
What the problem with Muricans? Carmen Miranda is not Hispanic! And I think it's funny, this muricans with ancestors from a countries that speaks Spanish think they're from there. They will never know the nuances of what it is like to live in these countries.
I believe keeping your culture alive in the U.S is so important like keeping your roots alive because I believe the U.S is meant to be a mix of all our cultures a place where they can be accepted and celebrated although it's clearly not the case just yet we are slowly getting there and that starts wth keeping our culture alive.
Poor California, on the way to becoming the first third world state and so will the other states, while the Latino population grows, the United States in 2050 will already be a third world country because of the social and economic mentality of Latinos, If not Because all the Latin American countries are underdeveloped countries, except Chile and Brazil, (God Bless America) 🇺🇸
Why do you say "Hispanic" when do you mean "Spanish" ? Please, do not mix Hispanic from southamerica and real SPANISHS from SPAIN. The whole hispanic culture in USA nowadays stems from their Spanish ancestors.
@@nooneknows9234 The majority of Spaniards have Arab roots and in Latin America there is cultural diversity: Amerindians, Afro-Latinos, Caucasians, Mongrels people, in short, a little bit.
FOR THE RECORD: The first Americans and first Europeans/Asians or Eurasians to the American continent (all of the Americas), were actually the Russians, the came from Siberia and Siberia is in Russia, millions of years ago.. So the Spanish were not the first Europeans in the Americas.
the first language spoken and extended in the American continent was Spanish, ok even if it hurts you to know it, Spanish marked a before and after in the Estados Unidos 🇺🇸
America is NOT a country.... United State is of AMERICA and the rest of the AMERICAN countries there in of the American Continent. We're Latin Americans not Hispanic... WE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SPAIN. YOU DON'T CALL PEOPLE FROM THE US OR CANADA ANGLO DO YOU? BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ENGLAND. More stereo typing people, how cute.
Many of Latin Americans are descendants of Spain. Keep the traditions of Spain, speak Spanish, which is embedded in the Latin American diaspora. Anglos have a different history and different ways of doing things so you can't compare. The term Hispanic is here to stay.
It will never stop sinking soon it will start sinking faster why not please leave for gods sake can you not see this is a warning while u can keep your worldly treasure and go before you have nothing and lose someone dearest to you!!! than you will have no choice to late...I am only one and I cry for you all and worry so that's who I am I feel for you!!!
Carmen Miranda isn't hispanic , she is luso. she was from Marco de Canaveses ,Portugal but she grew up in Rio , Brazil. Brazil and Portugal aren't hispanic countries.
Hispanic are here to stay and our traditions and language are part of us. We are not here to harm anyone we are here to work and become productive citizens. Why don't you get to know us instead of being overcomed by fear. We are happy people family orientated and will help someone in need. This is a small world and life doesn't last long. Even though we might not travel the world but when you meet someone one from another country and they open up to you about who they are you just did.
People are overcome by fear of Hispanics because they don't want to lose who they are. These people like being Americans and speaking English. They are not going anywhere. Why is that Americans have to know Spanish to get a job and everything else when their own public school does not teach them Spanish but very young Hispanics learn English. What "crime" did they deserve for all this? It makes no sense. But for some reason Hispanics are just starting to ask questions.
Thank you Bob. We walked part of the Camino at the end of April/early May. We started in Lugo on the Camino Primitivo which connects to the last part of the Camino Frances. I really enjoyed the Camino Primitivo (I think it starts in Oviado and goes through the mountains)--much less touristy than the original camino if that matters to you.
não desmerecendo meus irmão de idioma espanhol por sinal lindo idioma mais Brasil não hispano e latino ou luso americano e claro samos irmãos todos mais espanhol y português apesar de ser idiomas irmãos não o mesmo
Manuel why should we assimilate? Hispanics who assimilate to us culture have higher suicide rates, shitty mental health, and become unhealthy. American culture is toxic and you sound like a self hater.
@@bulbasaur1232 I hate the world assimilation, it's a dirty word. People are afraid of change, and Hispanics shouldn't be forced to behave like Americans.
English is and should be considered the first language to learn in the US but learning Spanish is extremely practical skill and should be encouraged for all children regardless of whether they have hispanic origins or not.
Why Spanish? Did the old school immigrants had their languages held in the same prestige with English. These languages disappeared after the third generation.
@@SuperRip7 Today's young people want to learn a new language either as a hobby, because they have a Hispanic relative or they like Latin music, everyone is forced to learn English young Americans also want to be bilingual, just like foreigners, and what better than Spanish, since it is the second most widely spoken language in the United States, and it is also very easy, since it is a European language and derived from Latin.

I think the video is unfairly judgmental. Why should the US be influenced by the Hispanics, while they shouldn't be influenced by the culture of the country they live in? That makes no sense to me, really. Their "losing" some of "their culture" is a good thing, because that means they are assimilating to the US culture, and the US is the US, it is not Latin America and it shouldn't be if they don't want to. If they want to fully engage in their countries' culture, maybe they shouldn't have left their home countries. It is only polite and common sense to try to adapt and assimilate when you emigrate.
Hispanic and US culture should not be viewed as separate. USA culture is just an assimilation of the many cultures throughout the world including hispanic. Therefore hispanic culture should be viewed as just another part of US culture. And there is also nothing wrong with Hispanics adopting the mix that is US culture.
Elizabeth Wohlford sorry but look it up, don't confuse national with official, official is by government national is by a "whole" like the well idk how to explain it but you get me right?
