Hi from Western Australia. I’m just learning to grow grass in difficult conditions. Watching farmer on the flood plains near me growing his soil with your techniques. Thanks for great content.
This is so interesting! I absolutely have a passion for science and I wish could have taken highschool a little more seriously to be able to have the grades for college and study biology. There is an open position for seed labratory where I'm from; thats why I'm here to see what a seed labratory is. The only thing I have to offer is a passion for learning new things, not an associates much less a bachelors 💔
How long does one of those bales of hay last, if left baled up in it's original string and supported on two logs to keep it off the ground, out in the open ?
we are trying to get Steve to come down for our winter meeting in febuary of 25. We have Greg coming for a two day school in september of 24. Do you have a way to contact Steve?
This is Dan Martin from near Dawson Creek. Thanks, Greg and Steve, for a great presentation! In light of Greg referencing my livestock genetics in this talk, I just wanted to let people know that I did follow Greg’s advice and I have a number of yearling and 2 yr old bulls available if anyone is interested.
On one of the elk, there is a fork on the 2nd to last tine. That is possibly an old trait of the Eastern elk that are now almost entirely extinct (minus some bloodlines supposedly).
I have worked with horses for 60 years and still enjoy it. So I wish you at least the same amount of joy and satisfaction as I have had with them. There will be mishaps, disappointment and even sorrow at times , but it is all worth it!
Great to see some work being done in Canada with this crop. Following the progress from a distance for over a decade with some discussions in alberta over the use of Kernza as a remediation source for fallow land. Water mobilization in an agriculturally difficulty place can mean more than the value of the actual Kernza crop. GG.
