I spent 4 hours trying to put this rack on my bike. The screws would not go into the bike. That tool was not included. Very disappointed and frustrated.
The hex wrench tool shown in this video was NOT included with the rack. Instead, a cheap flat wrench, neither end of which fit the bolts, was included. I used the Aventon hex wrench set, but the wrench shown in the video would have been much easier to use.
Aventon you sent me a bike missing the thru axle nut. I've been trying to contact you every day for two months. Is this really how you treat customers who spend 2k+ on your products?
I have a problem where I can't see which gear I'm in and I can't adjust the angle of the gear shifter to point the numbers more upwards. Also, I can't get the reflectors installed due to the clamps being too small.
I thought I was losing my mind, but I realized my thru axle is backwards, and needed to be installed from the left side and turned counterclockwise. There should be a nut that sets into the side of the front fork that the thru-axle screws into. It may have come out when you removed the thru-axle.
@@VinceTheSinkSabatini Your comment made me rush out to garage to see if it was hidden in there. But no luck, I am waiting for an order from Aliexpress and a local shop. Aventon has been non responsive, apparently it's a very specialized nut only they have.
BUYER BEWARE LEMONS EXIST - I’m sure a lot of people are satisfied and have a sturdy great bike but that hasn’t been my experience. Hey Aventon when will you take care of my lemon that is less than 3 months old? 13 hours on screen. Built by dealer I ordered from. Here are problems in order of occurrence. Day 1 of ownership the infamous loud resonant frequency sound from back rotor. I paid for rotors so I didn’t have to wait for Aventon. In the shop for 8 days. Steer tube not greased. Shifting and derailleur issues constantly. Battery lock is not flush which leaves battery loose and sounds like Bike is breaking as i ride. Screen cuts out every ride. Clanking noise from motor / back end when bike is parked and battery out. 40 + emails 6+ 30 minimum wait Times for customer service.
Mine and my g/f’s Aventure 2s came today! We’re very excited to ride them but one of the forks is leaking oil on the right side from the top where the lock lever is. Is this normal or should we not ride it because there might be a warrantee issue?
When I push the button the screen turns on, but the main menu never comes up. It goes directly to the regular screen. I have held it for a long time, I have tried other ways of pushing the button. Can you think what I might be doing wrong?
I took mine out of the box and immediately threw the packing materials away. If I had a million years and the help of a million monkeys, I might be able to re-pack the bike using the original packing.
Where is the torque sensor located on the Level 2? Most people would just assume that it issn the bottom bracket, but there are other types of torque sensors too. Please let us know what type of torques sensor is on the Level 2. Thanks!

This bike is very slow claims 28 mph but its actually only 26 mph and you have to really pedal hard to get that speed the motor also doesn’t maintain it it will slow down pretty quickly
Mine will be arriving Monday. So excited! I just wish it had better IPX rating than that. I plan on using mine all year. Hopefully it will withstand the elements!
