You could post the build then links to the individual items used in the build so they can be easily found rather than digging through hundreds of pages guessing which creator made which peice
I am playing Pleasantview and right now Brandi lives with her new husband and the third son that I've named Paulie. Dustin is married to Cassandra Goth, and they had their first mutual child Bella. Beau is off to college. She's now financially stable, and I kept expanding the trailer into a house, to kind of symbolize her personal growth.
If you go to your userstartup cheat file you can set aliases (shortcuts) for the build cheats. Ex moveobjects to mon and moff. You can also steal pleasantsims one lol

I think I have taken my sims on vacation just once! How do you sync it up with your neighborhood timeline? I think knowing that time works differently on vacation is what kills it for me. The community time mod is a must for me, and I wish there was a way to skip forward the days you take a vacation so the rounds aren’t so long!
tbh i'm not very strict with my neighborhood timeline, i just try to keep everything organized enough that everyone's ages roughly line up. i haven't actually tried this yet but what i'm planning on doing is using this mod modthesims.info/d/318007/day-setter.html and SimWardrobe's seasons & weather controller to set the day as the first day of winter on whatever day they should have come back. so for example if they left on Tuesday 3 days before winter begins and i sent them on a 3 day long trip, when they get back home i'll set the day to be Friday on the first day of the winter season. and i'll probably use the sim blender to age everyone up a couple days, but unfortunately i think you can only age them up or down in increments of two so that'll be a little off anyway. hopefully this comment makes sense, i kind of confused myself writing it lol! 😅
I love the idea of Dina and Cassandra going shopping together. I have always made them not like each other in my hoods (Dina doesn’t respect Cassandra’s relationship, and Cassandra doesn’t trust Dina with Mortimer,) but I love the idea of them becoming unlikely friends! I haven’t made it to either of them in my latest Uberhood, but I am getting ideas now!
@@ashplayssims i think the idea of them not getting along is probably more realistic but i prefer going the wholesome route of dina sort of stepping in as a “big sister” to cassandra. obviously no one could replace bella but i think dina could actually positively influence cassandra to come out of her shell a little bit and not let don treat her like garbage (even though she’s seeing him on the side lol!)
I’ve been facing the same problem recently with people wanting my builds, but there’s SO much cc and if I was to give links for where to download it the list would be too long 🤣 The best thing you can do is make a build with the intention of using a minimal amount of cc, and when you use clean installer make sure you double check what you want to have come with the house since some cc that you didn’t even use might end up coming with the build!

I adore it, reminds me so much of my style. I expected a cookie cutter modern colorful renovation like 90% of simmers but I was pleasantly (no pun intended) surprised. Please drop your CC list cause I have too much modern and luxury clutter but little to no the every day stuff.
Great video. This has definitely inspired me to renovate this house in my game.. I've done minor updates but it really needs a full update haha. The upstairs drives me nuts! In my game, Angela and Dustin are married and have the house now after her parents divorce, and Lilith's moved out with Dirk. So I like the idea that Angela would redo the home for her family and also to get rid of those bad vibes haha.
100% agree about Lilith's hobby. Brooding in her room is perfect! Also, yes, do the Pleasant Sims Pleasantview in Sims 3 or do a series with the bin characters. I almost like the bin characters better because no one has done that. Either would be good though. If nothing else, I change the Pleasant's master bathroom. It's a nightmare and all different clashing styles! Thanks for sharing!
My headcanon is that the Oldies are downsizing their house since Herb has finally retired. They have been living in in a house for years, but they are moving into a smaller home than the one they raised Mary-Sue in - perhaps a condo or the little shack in the woods. Maybe they are coming from a different neighborhood, as well, and that’s why they don’t know anyone?
if you edit your user startup/cheat file you can put aliases in instead of typing the whole cheat. for example instead of typing “snapobjectstogrid false” I just type “sf” and it turns off. google it for a tutorial, I recommend using your own aliases so you remember what they are. you can also press the up and down arrow keys to scroll to the previous cheat you entered in the cheat window, and you can delete the “false” part to replace it with “true”.
with copyright, i've realised with my own videos that if the music is quiet enough, it'll sneak past the youtube recognition. also! lilsimsie uses sims 2 music in her streams and uploads the vods on youtube. her vods are still up and monetised so i think it's alright
About the music - any music created specifically for the game falls under copyright and can’t be used, however some of the music that they used across the series is already created music under free use (such as some of the classical music like Mozart). For the copyrighted music, all the sims music is owned by Warner Brothers, not EA, and they can be nasty about enforcing bans for even a few seconds of use (it’s picked up by RU-vid’s auto audio recognition software), so I’d say be cautious and just try to find something else to use. Unfortunately I don’t have any plans to put it up for download right now just because I use a lot of custom content and the houses would be pretty much empty or look completely different without it. But if I can think of a good way to put them up for download while still crediting the CC creators, I’ll definitely put them up!
