1 series Interioir is miles better then the other 2. The Benz shakes in side, Audi is very basic. The best all round car here is the A3. It’s 4 cylinders compared to the others which has 3. A3 is more economical and the Benz A class actually has a Renault engine. I’ve owned both the 1 series and an A3 and although the BMW wins on style the A3 is the best out the three .. in my opinion lol.
I bought one in 2012 still have today great car the 1.8vvt 140ps petrol no 6 speed m32 gearbox there is 2 glove boxes one above and its deep dash actually has some of the engine under it you will know if you need to repair pipe work back there .Under passengers seat i also have another storage compartment so 3 glove boxes and in back boot there is a compartment under mat for storage for parcel shelf or unbrellas and also two clips inside back boot lid for umbrella iv fitted full body kit with front splitter 20" vxr astra alloys and lowered it 35mm all round tinted all windows even front quater panel windows all window trims are cadbury purple and alloys too and just ordered android stereo with carplay made for zafira on ali express to replace my samsung s5 tablet and you can also fit a double air bed in back to go camping in Highlands ❤️🏴
yes i have recently been on a tour of the south in this including dartmoor national park and it took everything i threw at it and more - after being repaired it really is a fantastic car. thank you for your detailed overview
I have the 2lt cdti Elite and average 55mpg on long motorway runs, loads of front storage but admittedly the elite layout is a lot different with, a large display as well , deffo your mpg is wrong i get that that just driving in town with loads of stop/starts
Your average speed is 21.8mph. That's almost purely town, not a mix of motorway + town, so the mpg is adequate. At that rate 58 litres would last for around 391 miles. Use a calculator for God sake! And there's tons of storage space, it even has 2 glove boxes. And the screen brightness is adjustable. It's also available with a much larger screen. Seriously, what kind of review is this!!!?
Larger screen two gloveboxes all come after the facelift and I mentioned at the start this is a pre facelift version. So please get your facts checked before commenting
You've got to be kidding. The second glove box is clearly visible in the video. You just don't know how to open it, I guess. And it still doesn't make up for the terrible calculations.
I own a zafira Tara 🤨 I'm sure it's tourer 😑 mines mint it's nice to drive quick and has plenty of mpg it does 35mpg for city and 54mpg for motorways not going 70 all the time 😇
@@danielharris2689 Hi daniel, i am looking to buy zafira tourer 1.4 petrol. is your car also has the same engine and are you referring the mpg from 1.4 petrol engine with full loaded car
A big screen to replace buttons isn't classy. Just looks cheap and tacky. I hope to buy a car in this class when used prices become cheaper. Won't even look at the Mercedes.
I think that depends a lot on which manufacturer it is. That being said, I for example do not particularly like Audi's latest interiors like the A6 and much prefer more traditional designs like the 5 series, however I have to concede that the future is in screens🙄
Definetly agree though isn't the point of this class luxury? If you wanted performance then for similar money you would get an 8 series which has a good combination of performance and luxury
The car has a second glove box and I understand what you mean about all the unnecessary dash board space but if they go rid of it they’d have to move the front doors forward and everything it would be impossible
Yes I know but a bit more consideration with the platform and design then it could have been an even better car. Thanks for the second dashboard though👍
@@rebeccabaker8824 its on the top of the dashboard, right above the lower glove box, and the opening button is hidden in the slot below it. There are plenty of actually good reviews of this car here on youtube. This is not the one you should be looking at.
