So this stupid greeting comes from a lame MTV music awards show and 2 BS 'who cares' C-listers who make garbage music that I don't wanna listen to ever? Yeah, I'll not be saying that, thanks.
Hey Bruno, I think everyone must agree this sad picture doesn't apply to the US only and surely not to any particular country but to the whole planet where we all have been living for thousands of years. As you said, it didn't begin last week. Anyone who has lived enough can give testimony based on his/her own life to confirm it to the younger generations. So here we stand this 20th year of 21st Century CE watching humans so proud of their scientific and technological achievements, but failing to understand and thus fulfill their most basic needs. ▪ As Jesus has pointed out, the people in this world are like sheep without shepherd. Human leaders of all kinds, from every field of knowledge, every political trend, even the greatest minds have been unable to lead people to a minimum degree of safety, satisfaction, hope. (Mathew 9::36 reads, "On seeing the crowds, he felt pity for them, because they were skinned and thrown about like sheep without a shepherd.") That was true on those days and it's true today. You're right, the protests we've been seeing now will amount to nothing as it's been for as long as we can remember in our lives or recorded throughout history. Sad but true. As long as the kingdom of this world does not become the kingdom of God, injustice, poverty, disease, pain and death will be around us. That's all I'm going to say tonight... Take care
I did my best to contribute to the conversation. At the same time, I was listening to Bruno and the colleagues, aiming at learning, that is, training listening and thinking about what to say in response, you know, all the simultaneous actions our brains take in conversations, which we take for granted when using our mother tongues. In conclusion, it's all a matter of practicing, the more you practice, the better you get in any field.
