there's absolute no description for each one of the style settings. more than half of those style settings are a completely mystery on what they do. what gives?

Wumbo lost because Zetris 4-wided him the whole time. Isn't that strategy frowned upon usually in tetris matches? Am confused about that, I only ever played this casually.
So the comments on this video make me think that zetris was banned off tetrio. There's no moderation over on puyo puyo Tetris, so it would still be free reign there, but my guess is no major Tetris player is still playing there, given the popularity of tetrio
zetris has improved a lot in the present, this one did a lot of things I was upset about. misdrops, tho not often, did happen which is unacceptable for an ai. too many mini combos that lead to nowhere. not enough b2b
so thats why you top out so easily in ppt now. In tetrio, you only top out if the next piece spawns inside a piece. PPT, you top out simply if a piece is above the line. But puyo doesnt have this topout function
