This is very over exaggerated for 1- their is no homeless people in Brentwood 2-police officers sit around eating donuts all day their is never robbery’s or murders going on except for maybe some rich old white people domestic shit and regular traffic stops that almost never end bad

Police stations here in San Diego are mostly trashy old buildings. I can't believe how awesome the facilities are in middle TN area are. I sure hope the officers appreciate how nice these facilities are!

Maryland Farms was simply gorgeous. How shocking and horrible that this gem was destroyed for ugly buildings to be built on top. Just look at this video. It was a heavenly place. Should have been a place for Brentwood to be proud of. What an absolute travesty that it's gone..

Don't be a cop, they're crooked. All you have to do is stay on RU-vid and look up rights violations, cops beating innocent people, it's all over RU-vid. They're so many rights violations on RU-vid it's not funny. The cops we have now need to be put in check. They're are videos of cops kicking pregnant wemon in the head while on the ground, cops beating pregnant wemon while in cuffs, then they laugh about it, and say i only stopped because i got tired. They are horrible people. They're so many videos of cops hurting people, and they just laugh at the people they're hurting. Groups of cops just beating people in cuffs, dead serious look it up right here on RU-vid, it's all over. Why is it that the people who are supposed to protect us from gangs and thugs act like thugs and commit the exact same crimes with a badge on???
Not all cops are crooked….actually a very small percent of cops are crooked. Maybe you had a bad experience with law enforcement but do not let the media(RU-vid) dictate your own thoughts. I can almost guarantee law enforcement will be by your side in a heart beat if you ever needed them. It’s an unfortunate world we live in but we have way more good cops than bad cops. I hope you can one day look past all the negativity you see on cops.

Never said anything about “Fake media” but okay. That’s very unfortunate you were falsely arrested. Again you are seeing a very small portion of law enforcement. Your algorithm must show all the negative side of law enforcement because if you actually look we have many many good cops who protect and serve. You’re not going to see someone taking a video of a cop every time they do something good because it just doesn’t get the same response as the bad cop videos. Do you think having no law enforcement would be better for our country??? Look at lawless city’s like Portland*, San Francisco and many more city’s who have cut back on policing. The city’s are on the verge of failure no one wants to visit people are leaving. I think you’re not looking at the whole picture and basing your personal experience and what you choose to watch. My auntie lived in Brentwood from the early 80s thru to the late 80s I visited often and I absolutely loved it! She lived just down the road and around the corner from Little Jimmy Dickens at the time. He had musical notes all around the sides of his deck. It was pretty cool! we would see him out there, mowing his lawn in his cowboy hat. Even saw Ms Dolly Parton at the grocery store once 🥰 The people were always so friendly every time I was there. It doesn’t look like it’s changed much from hearing everyone’s stories.

Truman Ward was my great-uncle. I remember Maryland farms as a small boy when it looked like this in the video. He was my grandmother's brother. She lived in Green Hills. Their father, J.S. Ward...my namesake, was twice president of David Lipscomb College. Their grandfather, J.R. Ward, served in Calvary unit defending TN in Lincoln's war. After the war J.R. secured funds to help his friend, David Lipscomb, to purchase farm land for what was to be Nashville Bible School...David Lipscomb College...and today Lipscomb University.
The new freeway split and destroyed Hardscuffle .It was a thriving and prosperous area of the black community. Too bad the narrator left out that part. When the United States Secretary of Transportation (Pete Buttigieg) described how some freeways were built just for that purpose he was right.
I still remember when I did D.A.R.E back in fourth grade when the Brentwood police department came in and did it. Truly inspiring. Thank you for all you do.
