2021 sti, I live in a really cold climate so cold starts with stock exhaust already vibrate my house a lil. I’m debating on touring or track. How much quieter would the touring be from the track?
I Honestly don't know man. the track isn't too bad after a fe seconds. but if you're worried about it, I would just go with the touring. can't go wrong.
I'm in Detroit metro area. If the cops bother me with all these Redeyes and Mustangs blowing through straight pipes, I'm going to feel a bit targeted. ...Used to happen with my built Talon.
Exact same use to happen with me, also had a built Talon lol It was 100% a bias from the older generation of officers who grew up on American muscle and hated the "ricers"
@@beardedpyro lol, so I've had this installed now for a few weeks and I'm loving it. I received two compliments last week from strangers over how the car sounds.
@@beardedpyro order it b4 and install same day you bring it home.. ive had 2 stis and one fa wrx and been driving a 6.2l Silverado for the last year or so i think its time ton get back into the subi game
@deante vanderkodde that's actually a great idea. I'm 100% on grabbing an STI, why not order the exhaust now and have it ready to go lol didn't even think to do that, thx for reaching out and the idea
haha, no tune on this video. I have the Cobb ots tune which really doesn't make a difference. waiting to get all the parts I want and install them at the same time so I only have to tune once.
I’m just getting started with my base wrx. So I apologize for any dumb questions lol. Will I need a tune if I get both an aftermarket downpipe and exhaust?
@@Lana18177 you don't need a tune for exhaust, but you do need one for downpipe. cat back exhaust doesn't need tune. turbo back exhaust needs a tune. will also most likely void warranty if you get a downpipe. just fyi.
there is a bit of drone but I honestly don't mind it at all. I love the way it sounds. sometimes I just drive without any music or anything on cause I love hearing all the sounds. that's just me though.
How loud is it? Is it raspy or deep rumble and sounds good? I can’t decide for the love of anything lol on what catback to get. I want something mean and loud.
@@hugogregorio9139 i ended up getting a nameless muffler delete axleback for 100 with shipping with blue tips lol. not that loud, i may do track later down the road if i want more loudness but im def good with the 100 exhaust for a while lol
@@KingZD1 I order this same exhaust for my STI with the black tips. I am hoping it sounds more like the clips from their videos reason I bought it was because of the Rumble and loud
@@chinosyqui2503 thank you for the reply, just want to take care of the sti since i just got it and i’ve been told i need to have the Cobb access port and a tune for the AWE track catback exhuast
@@arturomendoza761 I have the AWE Track on my 2012 STi. No tune is needed. Catback should not need any tune. Turbo back possibly to get the most out of the equipment. The Access Port is nice to have and if you plan to do anything else it is either required or strongly recommended. Supporting mods first over power mods.
Good ppl in PA. I went touring edition on my WRX. It sounds good, but after 7 months, I have a craving for more noise. I can easily do the touring to track conversion, but I'm not sure if will be too loud for my daily highway commute (60-75 mph) for 80% of my journey. I'm sure I'll enjoy the noise, but when the engine loads up and digs in at steady state cruising, btwn 2-3k rpm, oh boy, hang on to your ear drums. Even the touring edition can wear on you when the mpg bars are yellow 🟨🟨🟨 ....
Love it! Sounds legit AF! My bad but is this muffled non-resonated? Or without mufflers? Just a CBE or do you have a DP as well? Totally diggn the beat sounds.
booSTed ST umm no, you gotta remember charger 392’s are making about 485, so that’s about 410 to the wheel weighing 4,500 pounds with someone in it. The st is only making 230 wheel about, but at only 3100 with someone in it. Go race one, I’m assuming you have one by your name, and you might be surprised
UltimaArtz - Justin M. Bro, there is absolutely no way that a stock ST keeps up with an SRT 392. Just no way. Ask anybody. Or show me video of a stock ST keeping up with an SRT 392 challenger or charger. Then ill believe it. I’ve ran quite a few. Same result every time. They are faster than a stock mustang GT we well and I don’t get gapped as bad vs a mustang GT but I still lose. (Not the older mustangs the 15+ GT
UltimaArtz - Justin M. Dude, you must be smoking some hella strong weed. There is absolutely no way a stock Focus ST is beating a 392 scat pack. Hell, a stock ST would struggle to keep up with a regular R/T Charger. 🤣🤣
S13Hero I'm on the flashtune I haven't really done a real dyno run but on virtual dyno it's making 283/345tq. I was told by Alex if I was to get the custom tune I should see some noticeable gains.
Why only post videos of me winning? Just showing what a focus st on stock turbo can do. He only pulled about 2 cars at most. These guys are making around 440 to the wheels.
