Most people I talk to that used MTC say the samething. They love the fit and finish, customer service may be sloww but they are really good, biggest complaint I hear is people want easier way to pay, and tracking info. I'm really happy with mine, they don't charge for the tank cover, they replaced my side piece free of charge and the fit is almost as good as factory. Can't beat them for the price, I am sure there are better companies out there with higher quality but it is going to cost you.
@@GreyGooseGsxr if anything is wrong or messed up go to the website first and do the live chat thing that pops up. They will have you go to Facebook messenger, sounds shady I know but it is how they do stuff. I told them through FB messenger what was wrong and they fixed asap, took another month to get the replacement parts but I got that left side fairing piece replaced free of charge and it now looks perfect. So far the only thing I am still trying to get replaced is the rear seat cowling. I think it is communication breakdown, getting them to understand I can't use the piece it is ruined due to the screws coming through the plastic.
@FinalGirlHorror how long did it take for yours to go from processing to shipped? And I've been in contact with Mrs Whitney already she seems extremely nice
@@GreyGooseGsxr I placed my order on August 25th and it shipped on September 5th and then showed up at my door on October 13th. So about 11 days of processing then it was shipped.
Hey, thank you for taking the time to make this video, after watching it, I decided to check out the website. They have a lot of good options available. A question I have, did they come with mounting brackets for the inside of the fairing or did you have to transfer your old ones to the new kit?
Hi thanks for watching and commenting. You have to transfer all you mounting brackets and well as the foam weather stripping around the headlights. The weather stripping just comes off, at least mine did, you will need to buy a roll of 3m double sided mounting tape to reattach the weather stripping to the new fairings. Hopes this helps.

Hey everyone just wanted to provide an update to this video. So, I contacted MTC about the damaged fairing and ruined rear seat cowling because the screws were too long. The company was very helpful and gave me three options to fix the issue. The first was a $30 refund, I could also choose to have them send me color matched paint to fix it, or wait another month and they would remake the parts and send them to me. I chose to have the parts remade. I did not worry about the hardware that was orange and not candy red. I will provide another update when I get the new parts and let you know how long it took. Thanks for the update! In other instances of damaged fairings and such from this company, I've seen people be say they were offered a partial refund, less than half of what they paid. So I'm glad they have offered to make you new parts and ship them for free.
Hey everyone, I know a few of you are following looking for updates so here is the latest. It took awhile but I got a replacement piece in the mail today 2/21/24 for the damaged side fairing, and it looks flawless. I did not get a new center piece for the rear seat cowling, I will be contacting them again to find out if it is coming separate or they just forgot to send it. This was replaced free of charge so I have no complaints so far and would recommend this company. I will post another update about the seat cowling when I get it.
Just ordered my own set of these with some additional details they're going to put on there. Hope mine turns out as good as yours! Did that mark just wipe off, or is that how you got the other fairing scratched. Any updates with their communication on that?
It did not come off, the side fairing is damaged. I have been so bust with finishing school I have not had a chance to contact them yet. I will let you know what they say when I do.

OMG, it’s been way too long that I have listened to Eric Clapton! I used to listen to him on repeat back when my car still had a cassette player! 🙂 My favourite genre is Rock but my all time favourite musician is Leonard Cohen. I had the pleasure of seeing him live here in Austria when he was already 84 years old and it was absolutely amazing! And as a Gen X I like almost everything from the 80s - it was just the best time! 😂 Although I really love sci fi, I‘ve never seen an Alien movie … 😜 My favourite movie is from a completely different genre - I could watch Breakfast Club every day. It sparked my love for school settings. Favourite actor is pretty difficult but I have a soft spot for Michael York and Wlilliam Dafoe … Tom Hiddelston is also alway enjoyable. 😊
I love Leonard Cohen, I learned about him listening to Nirvana. It was their song Penny Royal Tea with the line "Give me a Leonard Cohen afterworld, so I can sigh eternally." I had no clue who he was until I started listening to his music and realized I had heard his songs in numerous movies. The Breakfast Club is one of my favorites. I did say who my favorite actor was, maybe I will talk about that in another video :). Thanks for watching!
I only ever heard bad things about "Mr. Mercedes" - but now that I hear you speaking about it, it sounds a lot like Friedrich Dürrenmatts "The Pledge", which I really loved a lot. So I think I'll have to read it now! :-D
It is really good. It really is nothing like King has wrote before. No monsters, no paranormal, etc. This is a straight crime novel that is very good at the classic cat & mouse game between a detective and a criminal. I can't wait to see where King goes with FInder's Keepers, and I may check out the TV show after I read the three books.
Thanks for watching! Yes I really enjoyed this one, parts were hard to read because of what was happening in the story, but it was different than anything he wrote before.
I absolutely hate this book to me it's one of kings worst books and I didn't enjoy the movie adaptation either I had to stop halfway through because it was so bad 😖

Before reading this IT was my favorite SK book, but this one was just WOW! Now I can't choose so they are both my favorite. There was so much more I wanted to talk about in this one.

This review my wife thought was the best. I filmed so many before this one. The first one I did was almost an hour long. There was just so much I wanted to say and talk about. I just can't get over how great this book is.
@@FinalGirlHorror Understandable! 🤗 But I would watch longer videos too! I know they are not so popular especially in the book tube community, but the same was said about the planner community. But sometimes there is just a lot to say and I get good feedback on my longer videos! This definitely was a good review and I also like your reaction to other reviews. You're welcome! Yes it has, if I didn't have this channel and trying to grow this channel I would just read stuff like book series all in one go. When I started the channel I read all of the Witcher books and people didn't like that. That was when I started mixing it up and trying to read a variety genres that I like but staying true to love of horror and thrillers.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've tried adding chapters a few times but they have never turned out right. I've been thinking about trying to record the videos in way that would make chapters work better I just haven't had the time to try it. I am also trying to make the videos shorter as well. I'm still new to this and don't have great editing software, right now I am only editing the beginning when I hit record and sit down and ending when I get up to stop recording. I‘d like to know how you decide on your next book to read. Do you have a plan or do you decide spontaneously? I am quite a squirrel and always have at least 3 books and 5 comics that I am reading simultaneously because I can’t decide what to read! 😂 As for the title, I think „off the books“ is a good one, even though I just asked a question about books! 🤪
Loved the review. Durfee is a great guy and i have been reading from his recs for quite some time now. Forgetting moon was such good read. Loved the world building especially the mer-folks and how he handled them. Lot of good stuff
I think I will put this one on my TBR because it sounds very interesting! And I really want to know what is more frightening than hell and the devil. I can only think of good old Lovecraft there... And there is always psychopaths, mankind is always so much more frightening than any monsters could be...😉
I love how much emphasis you put on the covers - cover art is so important for the success of books and the artists are almost never discussed! Even though I don’t read Horror - except Stephen King obviously- I might check this out just because I have been to Little Rock and Tennessee back in 1997! 😊
I got the idea from watching Brian Lee Durfee's channel but I talk about it for different reasons then he does. There have been so mant great books I have bought over the years just because they have an eye catching cover. I am a firm believer in judging a book by its cover lol
@@FinalGirlHorror You are not alone! 🤗 And sometimes there is a very intriguing titel - the book I have in mind for that unfortunately has an exceptional boring titel in English - A Summer with Kim Novak - but the German title is: Kim Novak badete nie im See von Genezareth (Kim Novak never swam in the Lake of Genezareth), which is a book by Swedish author Hakan Nesser and it's even more wonderful than the title. You might like it, if the comming of age part in Stephen King's books are especially your thing!
Bently Little can be a little hit and miss but when he's in the zone he's amazing. His descriptions of body horror is perfect to really bring out the terror.
If you liked the movies of The Hunger Games, I‘m sure you’ll love the books - in the first 20 pages you learn more about the culture than in the whole first movie! Absolutely agree with you on banning books! I follow „Bookish Realm“ here on YT and she did a couple of videos on this topic lately! Seeing this from Austria is just crazy - I could not find a list of books that are banned here. Not even „Mein Kampf“ is banned anymore, but it’s only allowed to be sold in an annotated version. I‘d love a series about banned books!
You can find old paperbacks on Ebay, do some research before buying and make sure you are getting the right copy. I believe you want a version published before 1990. They are around $20+ for a mass market paperback on Ebay.
I'm fully aware of this book's reputation among Constant Readers. However, I find it to be extremely underrated. It is a tad bit slow at times but it's also such a unique take on the Zombie Genre. Initially, I didn't like the ending either, but the movie's ending was so bad that I actually preferred the book's ending.
This is actually not the first James Bond movie ever made. The film series actually starts with Dr. no. The film version of Casino Royale you were referring to was an unofficial spoof that was made five years later
I'm going to read his books chronically. I have Carrie, Salem's Lot, The Shining, Bachman Books, Stand (uncut), Night Shift. Starting in October can't wait to become a constant reader
That is how I have always read King. It is awesome to see how he grows as a writer and builds this multiverse of his. The Stand is one of his best, IT is still my all-time favorite. Enjoy the reads and welcome to the wonderful world of Stephen King!
I have read the first Dresden book, I will be starting Fool Moon hopefully in July. My goal right now is to finish The Way of Kings, I have around 400 pages to go. This book is good but it is super long at over 1000 pages.
