The thing is.. These old games utilized the CRT-TV's inevitable color bleed for their advantage which made those backgrounds look much more smooth and pleasant to watch. Using AI redrawn backgrounds (like many mods already do) would be the best option for SE to remaster this properly.
I didn’t get super deep into the mode, but there’s not a whole lot different. Some broadcast elements are smoother overall, which is nice. Performance is on par with The Show 23. Is it worth buying? If you don’t mind restarting your franchise from zero, sure. New rosters are also here, too. - Danny
According to Martin Hollis the director of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark he stated that the reason for the removal of the knife weapons in the Japanese version of Perfect Dark was because big incident that happened in Japan known as the Kobe Child Murders. This was a change that was also made in the Japanese version of Goldeneye 007.
As someone who owns a PAL version, I can tell you right now there is no difference between the NA version and the PAL version. However, the German Release is the NA/PAL version with blood disabled as it came out in the tail end of Germany's ridiculous censorship laws.
Officially the game never came out in Germany. I had to import it from Austria where you find the hint "Nicht für den deutschen Markt bestimmt" on the box. In this PAL version, all the blood textures are fully intact.
RDR used to be one of my favorite childhood games and I am having a blast revisiting it on the Switch OLED. It looks better and runs better than it did back then, it's crazy just how much technology has progressed in such a short time. By far the cleanest and most impressive Switch port I have played.
Absolutely agree. It’s crazy to think that when this came out that the idea of having a game like this on a handheld wasn’t anywhere near possible. - Danny
This game can barely run on Nintendo Switch and looks god awe full on Switch we need it on PC ASSP WITH THOSE AMAZING GRAPHICS AND REALISTIC GAMEPLAY!!!
When is MLB the show coming to PC we need it on PC it’s been long enough and it’s the only baseball game to not release on Steam. There is no MLB game on Steam and we need one cuz 2K fucked up and stopped releasing MLB games if they continued and never stopped there would have already been a MLB game on Steam cuz 2K loves making all their games available on all platforms!!!
I think I want to get my hands on the Japanese Box, Manual, Game. Also that ingame title screen with the Japanese text over the English text feels very Ghost in the Shell to me.
There’s one review on there (from Forbes) and I tend to agree with it. The backgrounds are incredibly busy and it can be difficult to gauge what’s actual enemy fire coming at you or just stuff in the background. - Danny
I got curious about Densha De Go after watching the video from Linus Tech Tips where they covered one of those unique controllers. This is quite an interesting series.
I am a PC guy, and i'm sick of mlb the show never get on PC. I never played this game series, I just discovered it few minutes ago and I can't wait, very hyped here. I hope there will be an english translation, but if there is not, meh no problem, I just want a good baseball game on pc, and this one looks awsome! (Sorry for my poor english, kiss from France)
I like your review! I kike how in depth you went and how you showed things. I don't think i will pick this game up but I wouldnt know that if you did not make this video.
Thanks for checking it out! That’s exactly why I made this. I know that Hunters isn’t for everyone so if I can save you the time by showing you that you shouldn’t pick it up based on your preferences, great! Thanks again for the comment! - Danny
I got this game for 15 dollars back in March. 66 gigabytes digital is a lot. At least I’m not getting the next years game bc it’ll be 75+ gigabytes no cap
Honestly it’s insane only 130k people bought power pros 2008, I was one of those and I just assumed everyone loved it. There’s actually a baseball anime/manga called “oblivion battery” and they play power pros in the show with real game footage
I'm just curious if road to the show is more reasonable this year. Last season I played like 4 seasons in the minors with leading batting records etc in each one and never got called up. It is so annoying like the minors thing is cool but seemed broken.
