Aside from the absolute horror of what Gordy did, the close up on the girl who played his sister on the sitcom as an adult, sitting in the stands with a sweater with her face on it showing how she used to look before Gordy maimed & disfigured her, is such a sad and tragic image to me, that stuck in my head for a while after I saw the film
☝Frank is wearing the exact same outfit Tony wore the day he visited Sosa. I feel this was the moment Tony started to usurp Frank and take on his role. 💙Tony is also wearing a White and Blue ensemble, the same colors FRANK wore the night he met Tony. These colors show the significance of the roles reversing, and Tony coming full circle into Frank's position.
Beautiful world we live in. Movie’s glorifying criminals. So the youth grows up wanting to be like them. Then they get popped in real life and most will have ruined their life’s after catching their first case. And that’s exactly what politicians want. And most people will never learn
Ted figured into one of my most perfect days…I was 15 years old (so spring 1972)…skipped school with a friend, took the train into NYC, had my first drink in a bar (I was 15, but the bartender never even glanced at us as he poured the beers) and then caught a matinee of JCS at the Mark Hellinger Theatre. Ted was otherworldly as Jesus! I’m nearly 67 and remember it like it was yesterday! Glorious….
