Rudland Rigg was a hell of a lane before being repaired in March 2018. The steps (north of Monket Bank) were a challenge to get down, never mind getting up.
@@Pangea_Adventures_UK It’s flatter now as was just about wide enough to straddle with both wheels right on the edge about 3 weeks ago and after I drove it the bank on the higher side give way which made it much too wide to straddle. To get the rest though we dug it out and took the left bank to a nice angle and used it to fill the it in abit. After a good few rains it will be the as before.
@Pangea_Adventures_UK I own two Toyota trucks and never an issue. I have two friends with Rovers... they are jokes! Read the statistics, check out what happened when TFL Truck bought one... three repairs in under 1,000 miles! They ended up getting it replaced by Land Rover... yeah, they're great... hahaha... The Toyota Landcruiser is historically the most reliable, longest lasting vehicle on the planet! The Toyota Celica is historically the best running car ever made, the Toyota 4Runner is the best running vehicle in North America, the Toyota Tacoma is the best running small truck in the world, the Toyota Tundra is the best running full size truck in the world... do you see the pattern here???
@Pangea_Adventures_UK turbos are not for me, so I won't be buying another Toyota truck. Turbos are trouble! The new Tundra is now at the bottom of the list in dependability for the Toyota lineup. It will soon be joined by the new Tacoma and 4Runner... it's very sad.
@@Pangea_Adventures_UK or andys nav.... he blew a cv axle at the top, another nav with the metal canopy on the back got stuck and slide side ways coming back down
In the UK we have loads of lanes that were never converted to tarmac. These lanes often get overgrown and are gravel/mud/rock based. They are similar to logging roads but tend to have ruts and ford crossings usually the highest speed you can get to is 15mph. It's the closest you would get to being "off road" legally in the UK
