Of course the song is about Taylor! He probably wrote this song after hearing the song "Wildest Dreams" because she sings that the person was "tall" and that doesn't apply to him. I think the song "This Love" is about Harry and Taylor because she also sings "wildest dreams" here. He might mean that when he sings that she wrote the line in his presence. I find it funny how you sometimes connect things. Two days ago I saw the video "Out of the woods" again and it starts with the caption: She lost him....and I thought: there he is in front of me, the title of the song by Harry Styles "Him" 😳😂 Fantastic song!

Wow, this song hit hard. 5 years ago there was this boy, we claimed to be friends but talked more as lovers. Our parents didn’t approve, so naturally I felt there was no way of us being anything more. When we talked it was always private, text messages usually, no in person interactions in fear of it getting back to our parents. He had to delete the messages so he wouldn’t get caught. I knew how I felt about him the moment we started talking but I knew what everyone would say so I ignored my feelings. I started liking another boy as a way of distracting me from him. But it never worked and ended in heartbreak. 9 months ago I noticed him sitting alone crying, so I went to him, ignoring our families because I felt so drawn to him. I sat next to him and hugged him, and that’s when I realized I loved him. I told my mom the next day and she told me I needed to follow my heart. One day I went on Instagram, and found a picture of his girlfriend. My heart shattered. I was too late, he moved on. I finally had the courage to tell him how I felt, we talked for days, trying to figure everything out. In the end he said has much as he’d like things to happen between us he was loyal, and happy. I was sick for days, I couldn’t eat anything, couldn’t sleep because he’d show up in my dreams. All I could do was cry, and cry, and cry. So now I know what it’s like to fall in love from the outside, seeing the pictures and seeing how happy they both are. He deserves to be truly happy, we both do and I can only hope it happens for me someday❤️🩹

Swifties and Haylor shippers need to calm down abt this song if they aren’t Harries or Directioners because they think they know the full story abt Haylors relationship just by analyzing Taylor’s songs about Harry Just as someone said in another comment, their management could’ve easily made them write songs about each other Just like in 1D’s song Perfect there’s a line sing by Harry that references Taylor but the song was written by Harry and Louis and a lot of Directioners can identify a lot more Larry references written in that song than one line So I’m just saying that because this song was written by Harry for is debut album, he could’ve put the Taylor reference in to put off the actual topic
some people are capable of rejecting even the most obvious in order to reinforce what they want to believe. I came to this and their other songs quite ignorant of the story. As a literary scholar, I can say that the story is an OBVIOUS narrative which falls together with astounding clarity. These two were/are deeply in love and whether they are ever together again will always feel that love across time and space.

I've been a larry shipper but honestly, this songs screams Taylor lol. Also the fact Him and Trouble were leaked the same time. Those two songs connects with Taylor's lyrics too much, TOO MUCH. If you refuse to believe that then you probably haven't heard Taylor's songs yet, and I'm not just talking about her 1989 album. Cut it with the PR crap as well, I'm guilty as heck back then we just assumed all the boys' relationships were PR stunts even though they were in fact not. We did Taylor so bad back then, and painted her like a villain cause a lot of us shipped larry so much that it probably suffocated the boys and made everything awkward.
