The whole point of General Conference is to hear the words of the General Authority, not to hear them do comedy. Yes, some will include jokes, but they don’t make it the purpose of General Conferences.

There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there is perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden. It was restored, it wasn't flawed, parts of the gospel was missing, Revelation 22:18 kind is weird because the bible wasn't put together yet when the verse was written, the verse could only refer to the book of Revelations making the only true part of the Bible the book of Revelations that isn't even mentioning that the book of Revelations was actually a scroll so it was probably a mistranslation, Yes we do believe in the same Jesus we believe that the Book Of Mormon is like the Bible but in the America, it isn't another Jesus, it isn't like we are coming to change Christianity, we are still Christians, also you using that verse means only 1 Christian Branch is true so using that how would you know that whatever branch of Christianity you are is false?

An elderly couple shared with me an experience they had with President Monson. They were at the Salt lake temple looking out at the yard. And parked in the yard was several white golf carts. So they waited sure to see some General athoritiys coming out of the temple. And sure enough they did. One cart remained so they continue to wait. President Monson came out he just sat there in his cart. He spied them watching him. He waved at them to come over to his cart he was all smiles as always he quietly lifted a box and opened it. And held out to them a box of chocolates and asked them if they wanted one. They said he giggled like a child and said I just love chocolate. I thought wow what a cool story. He was such an awesome man!!!
You have assumed that members of the Church of Jesus Christ have committed sin. Have you not read, "Judge not that ye be not judged...." Or the passages about taking the splinter out of someone else's eye when the beholder has a stick in his own.

General conference has become a sore and boring meeting for youth, that between 70% and 75% under 30 now permanently leave the Mormon church. @@terryslade6240 Lol! Ok Mr. Terry, enjoy your reality. I would recommend: Ask your youth. They may lie to you and tell you all is well. However, Depression, suicide and the option to leave the church are at the forefront of their choices. You don’t work with youth and it matters not what you believe. It is obvious you care more about protecting the image of the organization than the youth’s mental wellbeing. For that reason, please remain in denial, it is giving you a purpose.
That's fantastic! I've been back from mine for 5 years now. Served my mission in Idaho and it was definitely tailored to my needs and future. So thankful for it and keep about it all the time. If only the men running our country were as great as these men, the devil wouldn't have a prayer. Love our church leaders and so grateful to them. Without their calming, inspiring voices we'd have no hope
