Over the years I have tried many different crafts and styles of jewellery making but I have a particular love for working with polymer clay and Beadweaving. I am now fortunate enough to write for a jewellery making magazine, I have provided tutorials for an online shop and my polymer clay jewellery has been featured in Mollie Makes magazine.
I am also a craft/jewellery blogger and an illustrator who loves whimsical and magical artwork.
I spend most of my days dreaming of new projects, fuelled by many cups of tea, chocolate and audio books.
Thank you 😊 It probably took about 10 days in total but some days I did more than others. I also ran out of some beads and had to wait for more to be delivered 😆
Hi! I’m new-ish to working w/polymer clay, & have made several simple canes to learn. I saw your vid, & absolutely LOVE the gorgeous snowflake ❄️ you’ve created, & decided to go for it…And it came out beautifully!!!! Everyone LOVES how pretty & intricate it looks, and I just had to thank you so much for making this video! ♥️🙏🏻♥️ You did such an amazing job at demonstrating-in super easy to understand & follow instruction- how to construct this cane, as well as patiently teaching what to do if little errors occur (such as slicing in half, If it’s not perfect you can stick back together & cut again) I never would’ve been able to even feel confident enough to ATTEMPT this had it not been for you, thank you so so so much!!!!! Making this cane has made me love polymer so much more, & I can’t wait to learn more from you! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, wishing you a blessed New Year from Erie, PA!!! 😘💕💖
Hello Noelle, this is so fantastic to hear. I am so pleased that you got a great result with your snowflake cane and I'm so grateful that you came to let me know. I was honestly absolutely delighted when I read it. Have you made something with your cane yet? Canes can be so daunting so I always try to find ways to make them that will hopefully make it easier for everyone to follow. I worry I over explain sometimes! 😂 I wish you many happy hours with your clay and lots of luck with all your future canes 🙂
I made just 4 of your little hearts last night. This morning I woke up with an idea and made a dozen more and connected them together with a lot of jump rings to make a sort of chain mail looking necklace. Then I ran out of rings. LOL Thanks so much for the inspiration!!!
Ha ha, you'll have to make your own jump rings to finish it! I'm really pleased you enjoyed the tutorial and have had success with your own wire hearts 😃
Very nice! Thanks for this - you’re very easy to listen to! I’m using #6 Miyuki Rocailles to make a pendant ir ornament, with a doubled Nymo thread. I’ve only gotten to the second riw, so we’ll see how it goes!
Thank you so much 😃 I have used regular seed beads on many occasions for brick stitch so I hope it worked out well for you. I love the idea of scaling up with bigger beads to make an ornament. I might have to buy some size 6 beads now!
