Great information about what can be a fun hobby. Love to see the collectors acquire and preserve the old cars; kind of a shame about the hustlers trying to make a business out of it, driving the prices up. Even worse are scammers ripping people off with counterfeits etc. Had to smile at your gold Twin Mill. I have its "twin" in my collection-same color, about the same condition!
It was killing me watching this. At first I thought I would never have paid that much for the two boxes. As you dug in, there was definitely a lot of value there. Too bad the green hovercraft is so beat, the shells are somewhat plentiful, kitting it out is the tough part. Skystriker looked to be in pretty decent shape. You had pieces to the tactical battle platform for GI joe, and the Death Star for Star Wars, but neither looked complete. Those cobra ferret four wheelers will do good, they looked to be in decent shape. The kid really played with the older Joes, some of the newer run figures were more complete and had tight joints and paint was good. The Star Wars figures were pretty nice. If you have moved some of it and don’t mind saying, have you doubled your money yet? I am new to your channel, think algorithm showed me due to the toy title, so I don’t know where or how you list those items. If you researched and put stuff together, and sold the higher end parts people are usually missing, and married up figures with there gear, I bet you did really well. I reacquired a bunch of my childhood GI Joe toys in 2000-2002 on eBay, and it was really easy back then to find stuff in great condition, I bet for what you paid for these boxes, I got 3 times that in figures and vehicles. Different times now, they go for so much more makes me glad I picked em up when I did. Real odd you had a super yellowed storm trooper, then in other box, a near white one. The Star Wars figs even bare I would bet go for 10 to 20 easy, if not much more for some if you took your time and found the right buyers. Nice haul for not really knowing the toy lines (as an old fart like myself who grew up with em did, and I still get stuff mixed a bit). That Soundwave Transformer cassette deck was a pretty cool toy back in the day. Had the cassette tape with it and extras you can buy that also transformed in to birds or dogs (I haven’t finished video yet, not sure if you came across any of em).
Hi Thanks for watching I appreciate it Yea it was a pretty easy double on the money w this haul, there was the original Star Wars base in there for figures that went for 200 plus , overall a very good haul I’m hoping for more like this As I’ve learned a bit
