Yeah, you're totally right. Since we are insane, as the course would say, we can definitely use the course to drive us deeper into insanity by jumping to conclusions instead of letting the process play out through our application of practicing forgiveness and love in our daily experiences. We won't escape pain by telling ourselves that the course says they are illusions so magically that means we won't or shouldn't experience it. That leads to suppression and projection, which is what we are aiming to undo. Acknowledging pain is what we want to look at and give to the Holy Spirit so that we don't keep it and become it. You're absolutely correct that the Holy Spirit will provide the perfect modality for us for its release. We're not guilty of needing help or accepting the help that's been provided. I used to sing jazz when I lived in Kansas City and I always love that song by Louis Armstrong, What a Wonderful World. There's a line that says 'the dark sacred night'... I've always loved that line and for many years I have practiced sitting in the dark sacred night meditating and drinking in the sacredness of darkness. To me it was warm, enfolding, nurturing and more. I almost hated it when the daylight came and I lived for the re-emergence of the dark sacred night. I believe I was embracing Mother Earth. It was 1995, I was living in Nashville Tennessee and there was a terrible ice storm that made thousands of trees break in half across the whole area that is Metropolitan Nashville. Weeks after this event I went hiking in Radnor Lake, a local wildlife preserve. Deep into the woods I sat on a bench and looked out at the devastation with great sadness. An area that was once dark and shaded by huge trees and foliage, was now glaringly bright with sunshine. Suddenly I spotted a form in the largest tree....it was Mother Mary, clad in her robes, straight and tall, she stood with purpose. Two friends showed up about this time and I pointed out where she stood. We 3 sat in silence, in tears and holding hands. It was beautiful and it was not the last time she appeared to me.❤
I would so go if I wasn’t recovering from last year’s trip to Alaska! Actually think this is some shadow work that needs to be done. I seem to have something energetic that puts me where I’m at when the money runs out. I have been asking HS for help with this. I’m just impatient and want relief now. 😂 Don’t forget Buffalo.
Pain for me (migraines) was another equal unreal veil to protect me from love, gods love. Guilt of seperation, fear of god, projection of pain, reinforcing the need for protection and reality of the bodies fragility. Pain defends us against truth, its like gods light is looking at us but we place pain between for the ego to project false beliefs of god's judgement and punishment. "We must be guilty, look at the pain you're in, you're being punished and should be afraid of god, god created a world of suffering and left you here, god hates you..." bla bla ego, forgiveness. I choose god instead of fear, I choose god instead of guilt, I choose god instead of pain. There is no guilt in me, in you or in anything that is real. God loves us forever unconditionally. I accept the miracle! Thankyou! :)
Hi Corrine. A few years ago, I too was guided to step away from a very long practice with ACIM. Having finished another year of doing the Text and workbook lessons, I was getting ready to begin them again. Sprit said to me, "You can begin the workbook lessons again if you wish. Or you can take my hand and I will take you out into the world and show you how to apply what you have learned" And I did just that. I have recently returned to my study of ACIM. But now, I am doing it day by day as guided by Holy Spirit. Thank you so much for validating what I heard. ❤❤❤

steve's opinion on jewish people is very heart felt but he doesn't care about what happened to the black american slaves and how they are kept down today. steve did you know that unborn black babies were used as gator bate after they were ripped from their mothers whom . did you know that they cut open black slaves stomachs and put live cats in them and watched them dig their way out? but that's okay to you because their only blacks with no power . but don't talk bad about the jewish people. steve you don't have a clue about who's been truly destroyed all you do is count your money .

I am really appreciating your perspective on the body as it's something I've struggled with in ACIM. I've recently come across The Presence Process which focuses on being willing to process emotions. I'm frustrated with my inability, though, to just "feel" the feelings. I tend to try to name it. And zi can't seem yo stay in it. It just just disappears (or hides till the next trigger brings it out again). Hoping someone might have some suggestions??
Ah, anger is never justified, but that doesn't mean we won't feel angry. Very good. I can even be aware that it's not justified while I'm feeling angry. I found the information Anthony William is giving us from Spirit of Compassion and thanks to starting with cellery juice and following the other suggestions for healing my ME I discovered that I was better able to understand the text in the Course in Miracles. It was like the clouds in my mind shifted and I could think more clearly. So yes, I would say that the Holy spirit guided me to choose this. I have been doing the Tree meditation regularly that Anthony William wrote in his 1st book (you find it at the back). I have felt a connection to the minerals etc...and in that experience a connection to the divine.

I will send an email. And it may be long...., Lol... I can relate so much to almost everything you say here, but the order of our learning has been opposite, if that makes any sense. I'll explain more, but I really want you to know that you are answering so many questions and challenges I have been having integrating Course teachings (or my UNDERSTANDING of Course teachings) with the decades of previous teachings, awakenings, and experiences. YES. They must be integrated together for the full, rich, deep, multi-dimentional spiritual life I crave, and came here to have...and share!! I relate too. It’s the reason why I’ve never been able to “fully commit” to the course in miracles path and why I still have love for other paths such as the Bhagavad Gita and it’s beauty for the laws of Karma or Buddhism and the mindfulness and simplicity or Hinduism and all the amazing Gods/Goddesses which are all representation of Christ Consciousness ❤
So timely! I recently have also been summoned to embrace Mother God. I had studied and had experiences with the divine feminine a LOT nearly 20 years ago and I thought I had incorporated the divine masculine and feminine into my awareness of God. However, it just occurred to me (and this really surprised me!) that even though I often use the name MotherFather God, in the back of my mind I'm really still FEELING God as masculine. I have to use a totally feminine term to bring that to my awareness of the Creator in the moment - that nurturing, feminine motherly aspect. The default is still masculine. So interesting I hadn't caught that before! So I feel like I'm delving into the divine feminine on a deeper level now and am excited about being guided along this journey. This is a wonderful realization, Diane, and I feel the same way! I "knew" God wasn't male and yet somehow that was still the default until I had this experience. Using a totally feminine term is SO helpful to undo our conditioning. So thrilled to walk this path with you! xo
