It has only visible effect or it change the geometry? For example I want to print the model, will it keep the holes? Is there any option to "apply" the cut?
It is actually more flexible and smarter than Revit. The concept behind the invisble cut box is similar to the Cut Opening profile in Revit Doors/Windows family templates.
I used to play around with SketchUp, but it's so expensive now, and I strongly dislike subscription models across the board. Still looking for an alternative that matches the quality of SketchUp, but is sold as a one time purchase. Sort of what Affinity is to Adobe.
@@niksergienkodamn it is expensive! For a modeler with lack of many functionalities in base app, no render, based on plugins developed by community, its way than just 'expensive ". Jest wręcz w kurwe drogi!
How did you get it to display the number of objects and trim objects shown at 6:09 I assume the number of objects is multiplied by 3 to get the number of tiles given you selected 3 tiles to array?
THIS is how SketchUp should function. There are so many holes in the vanilla software it's a joke. Thankfully there's developers like mind.sight that save save Trimble's ass again and again. Massive props to them, shame on Trimble for developing SU at a glacial pace.
Great! This is like the Floor Generator plugin, which no longer works as of SketchUp 2024. I hope that in a future update there will be an option to randomize the rotation of textures. However, this plugin will already help me a lot! Thanks for mentioning this!
