If you enjoy Druids, World of Warcraft, PvP, and high end gameplay you're going to like it here! Thanks for checking out my channel, thanks for your support, love you all!
If you unlock the Steelbox, open it, check the item (without looting it) can't you trade it to someone else? In this case you can simply sell the Hakkari gear for tons of gold.
On the pServer Ascension, I used to weapon for a spell/proc bear AoE farm build and it scaled this same way it does here. Was always my top damage in dungeon pulls.
90% of the players dont play to the top... i think druid healer is a fine healer.. raids are not that difficult that it requires top notch efficiency, and so many arguments are about end game... end game is like 5% of the total playtime xD
HOTW/NS is an excellent spec against rogue or warrior, but balance/resto is likely better against that lock. He's just got way too much damage you aren't stopping. I think the best strat against him is similar to how you'd take out a warrior. Dot, root, and never get within fear range. Screw cat opener. Not worth it. Locks and priests are the least mobile classes in the game. Punish them for it by kiting him and never letting him get even one fear on you. I'd probably decurse during the last 10 seconds of agony. It's always going to be up, but the last 10 seconds is really what hurts. Let it tick for almost nothing at first. Even if you don't decurse but one time, it's worth it for that one time because he's likely got amplify curse on that one. If you follow that strat, and you have innervate, you'll win. That pet is a pain though. Pushback on healing touch, and he can eat your rejuvinations, or worse, your innervate.
Mostly good duels! I'm sure you facepalmed when you shifted out while in melee range and that warrior chunked your health. I might have tried to abolish poison ahead of time, anticipating the blinds. Second best strat is what you did, just make sure if you eat a blind, you are in bear form.
Correction, druids are the best class to play if only shapeshifting would have no mana cost. You can't achiev full potential of this class because of it's high mana cost.
I love everything about druids, in just about every fantasy setting. Except for turning into animals. That's cool if its something they can do, but it seems like it's always the focus of the character. I don't want to be a dumb bird or smelly bear. Of all of the intrinsic abilities and lore for druids, they are always boiled down to LOL big animal
Hey man have you thought about rolling on Deviate Delight server? It’s a fresh movement on classic no transfers allowed and a fresh economy. I really want to roll Druid and love to have a mentor as I’ve never played one before
I always felt like Druid was supposed to just float. Looking at the end game gear its meant for a balance Druid. Really dont think druids ever saw their potential in classic.
I think a balance Druid is designed to be played mixing it up. Casting and in animal forms. There’s a talent that reduces the transformation mana cost and one to increase physical damage to encourage you to get a free cast proc as well. So it’s in the name “balance” and also to be able to heal since you’ll have int gear already. It’s a well rounded spec. Fun. But it’s all a matter of play style and preference. It’s your toon ;)
This guide has helped me even years later. Thanks boss! I also favor Timbermaw as a rep. There are some nuances to it. Whilst the trinket I found to be very unrewarding, essentially the summoned Timbermaw that aides you kind of has a mind of it's own. You can brute force it in some regards such as intentionally going low hp so that it will cast a heal(if youre not significantly low it wont) but besides that the damage and heal are unrealiable/not very significant. However what is overlooked about this quest, The Root of All Evil, is the demon you summon. Xandavious. Truly a warlocks dream for PvP, farming for elixirs, gold or wintersaber rep.
People only use bear form if they have to pull multiple mobs so they can survive. Makes no sense to grind more than one mob at a time. If you need healing mid fight with a mob you should have just been in bear form.
Cheers! Really-really happy to see the activity of one of my favourute dedicated vanilla/druid enthusiasts! Still remember your druid videos and tips at the beginning of vanilla hype. Was a good time. Pity, but for now vanilla popularity goes down, as hipe doesn't last long. Also there was no big activity on your channel. But you're back in the saddle, and that is awesome!
