If this unionizing trend catches on, Starbucks will slowly run out of business. These unions are drowning the US economy with all their demands and it's starting to take its toll.
At the beginning of the interview, General Counsel Abruzzo emphasized the difference between labor law and employment law, but then never explained how they were different. A question on that would have made the interview better.
I beleive employment law consists of laws that regulates the employer/employee relationship, while Labor Law is more about organizing unions and collective efforts on the part of employees to improve their own working conditions.
Let's see now, since 2009 the cost of Pick up trucks wet from 30,000$ to now days 70+000 $ I know this to be true. That is 130% increase. Profits are up as well and corporate pay and compensation are hugely up so where is the employees' earnings and benefits? This is pure greed on the part of the corporate leadership. It is disgusting to not honor the labor of others that enrich your business. If you think the cost of American workers is too high then think about this; Chinese and Korean made cars and trucks cost are similar if not more expensive and the cost of Chinese and Korean labor is no where near as much as it is in America. So this shows you that the corporate structure is all about exploiting their workers for the most profits they can squeeze out for themselves. This kind of thinking is anti worker and anti America. We need good paying jobs in America to keep this nation strong. Up the Union and stay the course and be strong ! Thanks for this great interview.
Why is every time you people talk about your gay war you try to mobilize blacks like they are your military wing? It is textbook manipulation. You keep trying to compare the black plight with the gay plight and it's wrong and offensive. You can't put color in the closet. And that's where everyone's sexuality belongs... in the closet. There is no place in America where there is less concern for the gay agenda than the intercity. You are completely out of touch. Leave blacks out of your agenda.
Very insightful, thank you for this. It's been a struggle trying to find the best picture and timeline of these events, as even our so-called progressive leaders in Congress are putting their own spin on things.
