The most engaging conversation between health professionals happens in chance meetings in the hallways. During these moments so much is learned .*One Thing* brings together thought leaders in conversation and we share it with health enthusiasts and learners. Our conversations primarily focus on one significant thing in the arenas of gut health, brain health, metabolism, and aging.
Highly informative and comprehensive conversation on a somewhat timeless topic that most people under appreciate living a short, hasty and unhealthy "fast food life". Thanks for uploading!
Jim I haven't even watch this video yet. But I've watched a lot of your videos and I'm trying to find a practitioner in Boulder. Colorado that uses the METABOLIC CODE. Please have someone contact me.
Dr. Stacy Sims is amazing! So smart and knowledgeable about women’s performance and nutrition in the context of menstruation, perimenopause and post-menopause. She is a trailblazer! ❤ Outstanding! 😊
The best epidsode explaining hEDS I've ever seen! - And I'm 70 years old and suffering more and more as I age... There's hope for those with hEDS in the future!!! Thank you for that Dr. Guggenheim!
there seems to be conflicting voices in regards to plasmalogens and using diet? Dr. Goodnowe said it can't survive the stomach, although I see several studies using plasmalogens concentrated from scallops- .
vitamin A is not a nutrient, it is a toxin. Lyme disease is a wastebasket diagnosis. Covid is a depraved psychological operation. If you really want to understand bile's role in illness, you should watch Dr. Garrett Smith, The Nutrition Detective. Livestreams 53 and 71 cover his toxic bile theory.
I live in the dc area and have just been diagnosed w long covid and mast cell issues after 18 months and numerous specialists but it seems like I need more labs and diagostics. Do you have any doctor recommendations? I find alot know how to deal w mcas symptoms but don't deal w the COVID linkage. Thanks
How do I get ordered listings of videos, so I don’t have to guess which show to watch first, second etc? Sorry I’m not good at the workings of RU-vid. I am signed up for the no ads RU-vid subscription.
I recently came across your RU-vid channel and was impressed by the quality of your content. However, after conducting a comprehensive analysis, I noticed there is room for improvement for your youtube channel for getting more visitors and subscribers. You have not made your channel SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly Your Thumbnail needs to be more eye-catchy Your Video Title, Meta Description needs to be improved You need to use more relevant tags and keywords for rank your video You have not shared your videos on your top social media site If you want to increase more views and subscribers on your channel and make videos viral then definitely contact me
There is no excellent research going on. These fools have been fooling us for decades and knowingly enforcing sickness. Ask your friendly, caring GP to test for IL-1b, IL-6, TNFa. The pro-inflammatories that really cause poor health. Sickness is in the blood, and healthcare conceals it.
I know this was from 2 yrs ago but it would be great to get a diagram or written something about the magic school bus journey of what happens in the body. Is it safe to assume that ppl with HSD have the same things that go wrong in the body as EDS. I feel like HSD is the step-sister of EDS...though we may not have the exact joints that bend in various directions, we have other joints....but we tend to have most of the co-existing conditions. Also I have never had a dr talk to me about possible braces to wear so that the hand doesn't cramp up. (I was sent to someone to make a custom brace for that reason but the person had no idea about it. Come to find out there is actually a brace made for this very thing: Meta PUSH brace ($99 in US) There imitations but the plastic is not as flexible as the PUSH. There is YT channel about EDS with dr who sees patients in CO and WI. Can't remember her name. Since MCAS limits my interactions with the rest of the world (chemical intolerance) and gives me severe brain fog (memory issues, word finding, ADD like symptoms where attention can be held but tasks often take longer because steps are done out of order, start lots of things...have trouble finishing them)....are there any recommendations that anyone has found that helps calm the mast cells from reacting and helps get the brain to recover. Toxins, chemicals, pollution, bad indoor air, wildfire smoke, etc are all known causes for parkinsons and alzheimers. With mcas the toxins bridge the blood brain barrier and we all have the brain issues of an elderly person. Diagnosis with mcas is still a struggle...most drs say it is in immunology but when you have been there twice and they say "there is no way that you can have mcas"....yet they never asked about the other body systems affected. If only one center is available in certain parts of US, many of us can't afford to pay out of pocket to see someone and we would need to travel. With chemical intolerance, you can not find anywhere to stay that will not be scented. Scented poducts used to launder the bedding, towels, soaps. Air fresheners in walls under the bed. Scented workers cleaning the rooms...their scents linger. Previous guest could have sprayed perfume and now it is in the upholstery! Planes, buses...need to wear a respirator mask (think gas mask)...yeah that wont draw attention. Body mechanics question: hypothyroid...usually always cold in winter....but since having mcas...can not handle outdoor temps above 75° F. Why? I have heard this described as a typical mcas symptom...but what causes it? I sweat way, way, way too much and body overheats way too fast...thus I fatigue faster. Can anyone explain how this works? (I'm in WI so luckily we dont have the really hot temps...but we did start out with 90s in June this year. Highly unusual.
Heard UK’s Paul Clayton and his talk on microbiome on RU-vid talk about low weight antibiotic KIB500 an antibiotic that can get into any cell and has a low weight 80 instead of 500 weight most antibiotics have so doesn’t destroy your gut!! He couldn’t recall which American university was using this low weight antibiotic on “autoimmunes” and they were killed and patients got off their medicines. And they were told to eat healthy or they’d get leaky gut again and the autoimmune would return.
If you are dealing with a mold toxicity and myco toxins, mast cell activation and don't have a gall bladder would it help to supplement with a bile product like Ox bile?
You're brave...in this day and age to speak the truth about Yin/Kali Yuga cycle (feminine chaos cycle) ...is to speak the quiet part out loud... The masses/universe/puppet masters are **pushing** the Toxic masculinity narrative... Which is exactly what "toxic femininity" does... Is attack/destroy masculinity in the divine Feminine Dominance cycle...
still confused about whether supplemental butyrate in helpful or harmful with leaky gut... I've been/on long term antibiotics for several tick infections and trying to find a way to protect my microbiome or at least minimize the neg. impact of the antibiotics.

My wife and I moved out of a moldy house (to my mother inlaws basement) only to be exposed to more mold. I began using lots of suppliments and had to take them to get through the day. Stress for many different things made symptoms worse (that was 5 years ago. After finding some layent dental issues ( ioamt- biological dentests are the best) fast forward 5 years still taking 15 suppliments a day I found the rcp. The root cause protocol has droped my symtoms by 30% its only been 10 days. Thank you Morley.
I left that group in the end. I think cod liver oil made me ill in the long term after good short term results. Meri Arthur at Weak therefore strong on YT has done some work showing that vitamin a in supplements degrades to a toxin called anhydroretinol which is a mitochondrial toxicant.
This is not just a food poisoning issue. Vector borne disease is associated with sibo. I can personally say that my daughter and I both have alpha-gal Methane sibo, histamine I tolerance and intestinal permeability. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7834170/
What about Gallbladder flushes. SO many people have so many protocols. I wish we could make one size fits all. Gallbladder flush helped me did my first one yesterday . Hulda clark protocol. Feel better. going to do more 1 every 2 weeks.
I'll give you THE *final* gallbladder flush: FAT. Saturated Animal Fats. Go: KETOVORE (Keto Carnivore also known as High Fat Carnivore) ...when you eat "fat" your body STIMULATES the gallbladder to "release"/"flush" bile. Boom. If you want to help your body more? Drink lemon/lime juice to help break down oxalates (diluted a bit to tolerance with calcium & potassium to bind with oxalates) as a large portion of gallstones are calcium-oxalate crystals ...
The NUMBER ONE gallbladder flush is: eating high fat Carnivore. Literally. Fat causes gallbladder to flush. Eat saturated animal fat every meal. Avoid: carbs, toxic seed oils, plants/oxalates.
Thank you both I’ve been suffering for too long--I just bought ur book and hope to join one of ur groups I work just a couple blocks away from UCSF. Your explanation of things makes so much sense about the symptoms. I’m having in long Covid, especially since I was very ill with E. coli for two months and my gut and then got Covid right after getting better from that for the very first time, it explains a lot. I am desperate to get better though. I hope I can join one of your groups. I’m going to ask my Kaiser doctor to send a referral to your group session this week.
After SARS COV2 infection at some patients cryoglobuline like (IgM antibody ?) occur and trigger erytocite aggregation at capillary level If blood temperature decrease (perifereal circulation) Maybe that explain,, happy hypoxia,,see after SARS COV2 infection ?
Did we know at what tissue temperature did SARS COV2 better replicate ? Why ? Because at TWiV 659 at min29 virologist Christian Drosten suggest that SARS COV2 better replicate at very low tissue temperature (34-35C)
Theoretically higher mucoseal respiratory temperature protect against Covid19. But how can maintain higher mucoseal respiratory temperature,If thermogenesis was weakened by different causes (low thyroid function, low muscular function and tonus, etc) and air temperature are low even in summer by using air conditioning cooler) ? Maybe in this case mask wearing not only stop droplets, but also maintain higher mucouseal respiratory temperature ?
