Hi, great work on the video. I just want to ask about which option that you took when purchasing this colour and where did you get that Zero Two badge ?
Just keep in mind that it does have a slight purple hue in natural lighting as shown in the product page. I’m using a warm ring light hence it looks more red
thats a custom keyboard u have to build it urself like he did, in the us you can probably order everything easly i live in france and theres a ton of taxes
@@Nocee I know that as I've built a couple of customs. I was asking this because the only site I've found this kit for sale was in Vietnamese and shipped in Asia only.
You can find a proxy to help you purchase the board and handle the shipping for you. Might get taxed but won’t be much since the board valued less than 100USD😅
My M1W is very thocky and fuller while Hi75 is more towards clacky imo. Probably the PCB of M1W is non flex cut hence the fuller sound. I would recommend you picking up the Hi8 instead of this 2 boards. Superior value and finishing when compared to M1 and Hi75.
Wow that sounds great, kinda like mahjong tiles clashing into each other. I have some Z1s at hand but haven't thought to put them on this board! I'll probably swap out the alpha keys to Z1s and see how it goes!
Just keep in mind that I hand lubed my switches and did the following mod. Sound might varies tho to diff table density as well. I use an uncut IXPE to enclose the case foam with the PCB itself. 1. Cut an IXPE sheet to PCB size 2. Use cellophane tape and tape on all edges of the IXPE sheet. Expose some adhesive part of the tape as it will be sticking on the PCB after. 3. Put the case foam between the IXPE sheet and the PCB. 4. Use the remaining adhesive tape to stick onto the PCB. To create a seal to the internals of the keeb. That’s basically it. Just sealing the internals with an IXPE sheet to make it sound more focus and full.
There is no way this build costed under 200 dollars. Bc the qk75 costs over 200 and sounds close but not AS creamy as this. Really well done...how much did it cost you?
I’m from Malaysia so the direct conversion to USD is $130. It definitely punches above its level. The internals are well constructed and designed. Just that you can feel the difference when you’ve handled a QK or Cycle board.

Just finished my first build ever (Keychron K8 Pro, U4Ts, Stabies V2, both lubed w 205G0), and I'm very jealous of what you achieved, that saturated thock sounds soo good😅
If you've already splurged on Stabies and Boba switches, you should have considered a different barebone option for your keyboard build. Keychron keyboards fall short in terms of modern mounting structure and overall value for consumers.
@@h0zumi You can replace the red plastic part of the knob if you’ve found the one sold by Leobog. But you can’t just replace the knob with the generic guitar knob. That’s what the OP was asking.
This is an alternative of the Keebmat! Ordered it from China for a cheaper price. It eliminates the resonance of the table while typing. Also makes it sounds fuller by a bit😂.
hey. Ive been looking into getting a keyboard. I really want it to sound kinda creamy i guess... Ive got like 130$ to work with. Im not really sure if this is possible any way you can help?
I would say replicate the build when you find the perfect soundtest to you. 130$ opens up a lot of options for you. Get a Rainy75 or join the Mechanical Keyboards USA Facebook group.
@@maxkeeb_official okay thank you. I'm actually really liking this exact setup you have. I wanted a red and black one as well. But it seems like the Hi75 keyboard is always out of stock is this normal?
