I knew the time where there wasnt a safety net like this and no such a little trail till the other end to give you a safe initial turn, you had to drop of like that in the beginning, adrenaline kicked in, only for the ultimate best skiers, but sadly, bc of all accidents, they made it easier for the plebs, 😅

I can’t turn like that. I’d be looking for some way to side slip until finding somewhere easier to pivot, like a bump. Doesn’t look like much fun, but fun to watch!

I'd love to ski with you bro. My wife grew up in Gap and we skied Vars in 2016... probably going back to France hopefully next season. Not tooting my own horn, but I can hold my own and I know we'd have a blast skiing together.

i was in vaujany (right beside alpe d'huez) last week

J'ai fait le tunnel pour la première fois à 8 ans en 74. quand je vois tous ces cons qui ne savent pas skier et qui on rendu cette piste mythique totalement impraticable avec leurs paraboliques en creusant des murs de plus de 2 mètres. C'est une honte !!! Quand je le fais encore (et rarement) je file tout droit sur la droite sens de la descente pour retrouver les sensations de mon enfance.

l'alpe c'est mon coin, très belle descente, tu as pris le temps de montrer la vue splendide.

Le début est assez violent du fait des bosses très creusées mais la suite va tout seule ! Faut y aller franco, un peu de vitesse et on tourne ! Belle descente !

A ce que je vois, il y en a beaucoup qui auraient besoin de prendre des cours de ski !!!! La dernière fois que j'en ai fait c'était en 96. Combien de fois ai-je pu faire ce tunnel et je m'aperçois qu'il y a toujours autant d’embouteillage!!!!! Un de mes moniteurs a descendu cette portion en schuss. Par contre ce même moniteur a voulu nous y emmener un lundi matin et j'ai refusé, le Pic Blanc fumait, ce qui signifiait qu'il y avait beaucoup de vent et qu'il faisait très froid. Quand il est arrivé, là ou je l'attendais, il n'avait plus que son sous pull sur lui !!!! Si j'ai arrêté le ski c'est parce que je suis atteinte d'une myopathie rare et dégénérative. Mais de voir toute ces images me font du bien.
