What are you running on the controller? Traktor? Serato? Internal sw? What is that controller? Currently revamping my bench to include a Kontrol S8 running traktor- along with all my Roland gear (MX-1, TR-8S, TB-3, S-1, P-1) and Mopho, Microbrute, and various Volca / Pocket Operator synths. It's a challenge. You seem to have pulled it off well.
@@PeteSpaker that’s a denon live 4, I also have a set up with tractor (using the F1 as controller) but denon is a lot more versatile as far as the supported streaming and lectures of all files. And don’t need a pc all the time (also you can record your sets without interface) So what I do is getting all the gear connected to a 10 channel mixer and the main audio plugged into the denon controller as an aux, so I can use 4 regular channel for regular dj sessions. also I use the RMX1000 to control effects so I can cut frequencies on all gear with changing any parameters. Also have the xone96 and for analog gear is great the effects control is so clean but the cable management is another dilema so decided just to use the xone96 for vinyl set 🤷♂️😅 Hope you find it useful to find the right controller. Thanks for watching
Everything is connected via midi with a splitter And the main signal comes from the tr8s… then all sound goes to a 10 channel mixer and the sound goes from there to the dj mixer as an auxiliary channel If it makes sense
Nice man!! Hey I finally plugged an expression pedal into my GAIA 2 today for thr first time. I dunno if you tried it, but it is pretty neat what you can do with it. Turning ARPs on and off or controlling reverb send level etc. Was having fun anyway.
That’s sounds great, I use the RMX 1000 for effects I think is a great tools but that’s only for all the mix in general Delays and pedals are a great addition to any DAWless set up is just how you feeel more comfortable playing Lmk when you upload a jam
@Pain_killermusic Ah yeah I was wondering about that RMX 1000. I should look into it more. You are a lot further ahead of me with DAWless. I'm still moving over and rearranging things slowly. Right now I use my DAW just as a live effect box, and to record the take. At least that is what I am doing right now. Seems to work but will see how it goes. I did upload a jam. Need to figure out better way to record video as well. For the last one I had to reshoot it afterwards. Although it is pretty funny, I do need to figure out a better setup haha. Alright cheers mate.. Here is the one I uploaded recently ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vrtJLylFDDw.html
@@jumpstar9000 tell me about it I’m always trying to improve my video recording. I think that’s the harder part specially when you do it by yourself I had some help with few and has been much easier and great. But is always a learning experience keep up the hard work Nice beat btw
@@DjMorningstartrancedj all my synths and drum machines are connected to a 10 channel mixer that goes into the dj mixer as an aux channel And sync between dj mixer and analog gear by ear even all analog gear is routed through midi
We wish ALL Dawless MUSICIANS would make Clear.....This is NOT a 320kbs mp3 Pre-recorded track. THIS is Music made right in front of Your Face 😊....YOUR MUSIC IS MASTERFUL!!!!❤
