In middle school I had a big mlp/ sonic phase and my favorite Sonic song is Endless Possibilities, so with all that combine and seeing this song chance my brain chemistry and life for the better, this is my Roman Empire x10
The music sounds like it was done on a Casio from the 90’s, a really well done one at that. It’s like it was the only equipment they had when doing the OST.

Taking the appearance of a kunoichi (female ninja), she specializes in stealth, melee and floral-based attacks taking inspiration from fellow maverick hunter Zero, who is her sparring partner and love interest; unaware of the hunters’ policy against inter-relationships. She uses a pair of twin blades called Hana as her primary weapon. Upon Zero’s demise in MMX1, Sakura holds a prototype chip meant for him: the Z-swordsmanship chip, which gave her enhanced melee-based combat. Although she has not joined Sigma, she plans to use her newly-developed skills to fight X. X can fight her by finding a flower petal somewhere hidden in one of the eight stages. Once obtained, X has to find a secret passage marked by a pink flower that will lead to Sakura. (Flower petal found) X: Wait! I recognized that flower petal. This belongs to Sakura! But…why would she leave it here? (Secret passage uncovered) X: A secret passage with a pink flower on it. Is this where Sakura is? (Boss encounter (0:00 - 0:05)) Sakura: X… X: Sakura… Sakura: So…you have found my flower petal I have left for you to recover. It’s been six months. X: Sakura, you left without notice. Why? Sakura: Why, you asked? You’d do the same I did. Remember Zero? X: Zero…? I-I…he…! Sakura: You knew what happened to him…didn’t you?! X: He…sacrificed himself to save me. So I can go on to destroy Sigma. Sakura: While he lies destroyed and forgotten! Hmph! Some ally, you are! X: What do you know about him? Sakura: Zero…he is my sparring partner during the test run for melee combat. The first time I met him, I could feel his fighting prowess move sooo smoothly! That’s what makes him an SA-class hunter. I grew inspired by Zero…and then I rose through the ranks to become an SA-class hunter myself. Suddenly, I have developed a sense of love for him. An affection for Zero. He and I have chemistry between us…and now he’s gone. That’s why I kept this chip. The Z-swordsmanship chip, as a keepsake to remember him and an upgrade to become powerful than ever before. X: You loved him? But you barely knew each other while he was on duty elsewhere. And the Z-swordsmanship chip needs to be returned to Cain’s lab. We needed it to recover Zero’s parts. Sakura: No! This chip is what makes me an SA-hunter. But to earn it, X,…you must fight me. X: What?! Sakura, there’s no need to fight each other! Sakura: Don’t be so weak-minded, X. I want to see how you will ever live up to Zero’s expectations…to become stronger like everyone else! X: Sakura!!! (Boss health bar rises (0:07), battle begins) (Sakura defeated) X: Sakura! Sakura: X…you did it…! X: Hang in there, Sakura. Sakura: X…you have exceeded Zero’s expectations. Perhaps this is why he considered you a friend despite your rank as a B-class hunter. Perhaps…you are destined to be an elite. X: Sakura. Sakura: Please, take the Z-swordsmanship chip. Dr. Cain was planning on installing it on Zero anyways. To be fair, those two are the only ships in the series that have the ability to materialize and de-materialize parts of their body at will, and also have an animated explosion that shoots parts into the background rather than just the middle ground. It's the only other "3D" boss besides hysteric empress.. I can kind of understand why it got re-used
