It is so sad that Waterlogging barely can be activated, such a useless talent. I hope they will change that because it is so hard to hit your wisp with your special and it is only stacking up until you cancel your attack. Enduring wisp help alot to keep alive your wisp longer, but I see you doesn't even try to hit your wisp for stacks. :D
32:35 one of the things i really hope they improve in this game is the leashing range of enemies as it can get ridiculous at times especially in 3-4 coop
I think I was just running out of time, I want to make sure I got all the red chests in the end of the second chapter incase they had an Ace of Spades to buff my damage so I did those instead of the quest
I'm in the same boat, firey slash with ring of dispel, multiple dashes, 5x eternal rose stacks, and attack damage is my favorite build to run with him, it lets you 1 - 2 shot most things in avalon
I've been the same way since the new update, I think he really struggles to stagger the final boss so you need to get a build that can help with that. I really like this type of attack build, firey slash is a great ability to help with damage and stagger. Sparkling shield is one of his best abilities to stagger the final boss, and I really like his power build. Double shock + eruption is probably his safest way to play against the final two bosses, I have another beowulf video called "Beowulf Power Hour" that demonstrates that build
Breath of fire's cone attack at the end of your attack string gets its aoe buffed a fair bit by heavy strikes, which is pretty nice. The ignite portion seems to have a bugged interaction with explosive fire though, ignite applied by the fire breath doesn't trigger an explosion on enemy death even if you let it tick for a bit. Applying ignite by other means then extending it with breath of fire works fine.
Hey! What is the best starting talent? Personally, I think this is Q, after completion cooldown is insane (exaggeration but still). I also like explosion but never tested shield starting talents considering them the least favorite and powerful ones. Am I correct, though?
Yeah draconic binds is the strongest in my opinion, the cooldown is a lot more important to me than every other starting talent. I like shield charge a bit because it can get you out of a lot of dangerous situations. Explosive fire it hit or miss for me, it's really good in the first chapter but seems to fall off a bit in the second/third chapters
Dragon flight is a lot worse until you get the level 10 upgrade but I like to take it when I have a really strong special or power build because it'll make them both buffed during your ultimate. On attack builds where I'm not as focused on power or special I'll take raging chain to deal with big groups or an elite
@@positive4ce I think special build raging chain It's better to use because When using special must get close to the enemy ,make raging chain easy to use and use Dragon flight close to the enemy It's hard to get hit too.
Do you know what the calculation is from ace of spades and the + damage stat? Is your attack damage Attack Damage X Damage multiplier x Ace of spades? or is it Attack Damage X (Ace of Spades + Damage Multiplier)?
The latter of the two, all additional damage is going to be added to the base damage multiplier and that's why I normally like ogres blood over something like 20% more special damage if I'm not doing a special build, if it was multiplicative then I think the 20% damage buffs would start to get out of hand
@23:39 wouldn't the re-rolls make more sense since you would have gotten 45 x 6 = 270 dream sharts in addition to the re-rolls because of your coins? Even if you would just blow all 6 rolls right ahead, I think you'd come out ahead. Am I mssing something?
Nice run to wake up to. Really cool to see actual attacks work. Those meaty swings really look good, and when they actually do dmg, that is so satisfying :D
The audience peak view time is interesting to me, I post around 7pm-8pm PST and most of my viewers are watching 6am-12pm so I'm guessing most of them aren't from the US
Great run, smooth build! Even tho you could feel the clenching at some precarious points, you really made it look good. Such a great rhythm to Piper's moves when it all comes together. No pressure, but I feel you should try to do this with one of the melee dudes at some point, would really be impressive!
Thank you, this run is terrifiying with no feathers. I will probably try it soon with some but it can take a lot of time to get the video recorded, probably gonna try it on Aladdin
What a highroll on everything :D Game is not balanced... Too hard early, too easy lategame with these OP items like Golden Chainmail + Black Lotus, Hope Diamond etc. Those 3 need a nerf, while some other legendary and cursed items need a buff imo
Yeah I 100% agree, I think they should make it so you hope diamond double dreamshards but you loose some when you take damage or something like that. I will say doing this run is still pretty challenging even with all those items though, took quite a few attempts to get this one
Yeah balors eye is always a tough one for me, sometimes I think the spam of abilities to help stagger is better but sometimes you could just kill everything with one if you have balors eye, it could have worked with this one though
Yeah that’s why I like to ban it in the normal nightmare runs, it’s the only reason I made it through Avalon in this one. My farthest run prior to this did have golden coat and I died to crab bubbles so you do still need to be careful but it’s either golden coat or horn of plenty + ogres blood that you need for a run like this
Do you think the player scaling is too strong? It feels like there's too much scaling by %, so you're either behind the whole time or exponentially ahead. I wonder if they should reduce some % scaling and mix in more addative scaling.
Sorta, I do feel like your build is normally awful or just destroying the game. I’d think they balance the game around new players first going into adventure difficulty and would want them to feel pretty strong to keep them hooked in the game. I think something that kinda hurt the game was the stagger of the chapter 3 bosses. If you have an average build you can normally still make it through Avalon with good play but if your build doesn’t have an ability with good stagger potential than the final boss fight can go on for way too long. For specifically talking about damage scaling I think the damage number represented by the sword might need to be adjusted or nerf things like ogres blood that can stack that super high. I don’t think things like the king of clubs are in a bad spot though because that just affects one ability and if you fully build for one ability then I think that it should feel over powered
Good to see this done correctly. I did a similar build yesterday and died to wolves in Avalon. I couldn't really get the right items for dmg, so it fizzled out after act 2. This seemed viable tho, so GG
Yeah this was the fastest snow queen I’ve ever had, if you want to see the fastest kill I’ve had check out the “the best pied piper build doesn’t need chorus”
Wow, that took a lot of forcing, and was still mid. Biggest problem is you are so vulnerable when channeling that ult, for not that much damage in return I feel. Even if it even just did the same damage over a shorter duration, it would feel better. Looking forward to your next one, take care
Your build was so painfully impractical to achieve, it should've melted the boss. You staggered them, got them vulnerable and close, and still they didn't die. Shows that frost ray is ridiculously underpowered.
Yeah I was really hopeful with everything that I had put into the build but it still didn’t workout, I hope the do something to it, it really only needs the slightest damage buff to be good
I can't stand her default ultimate. They really need to fix it, so it's worth considering. Thank for the vid. been enjoying your coverage of ravenswatch. Been playing since the first version, and loving it.
Excellent guide! Geppetto is my second-most played hero behind Beowulf, and I actually do indeed like Nailing Strike and take it quite often. I will admit however that it is one of his weaker talents and is probably C-tier at best, so if your goal is to build him as optimally as possible then you should skip it. The main reason why I like it is because it gives him an additional source of damage that isn't contingent upon his dummies, so in cases where all the dummies are out or if I'm waiting on cooldowns and have nothing else to do, it at least allows me to get more damage in. The second reason is that it synergizes well with Overclock, as your Power deals no damage while the dummies are spinning, so it's nice to have something to do while Overclock is active. So yeah, certainly not an amazing talent by any means, but it is plenty viable and I like the extra options it gives him.
Thank you! And good feeback, I was wondering if anyone was going to mention nailing strike. The other good application that I could think of is if you have oiled mechanisms and large family with the mechapuppet, that way the AoE of nailing strike could hit all puppets at once if they're positioned well
