Was a great fight. Rules matter. How many MMA fights do Leg Kicks matter now? Was even more of a difference Kickboxing in PKA and WKA. 1 was counting Kicks, the other was Chopping Legs. It's history. Anyone can Judge now. Benny lost the match. It wouldn't have taken away a Title Belt.
Benny is my All Time Hero. No big deal he lost this fight. Legends like Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Mike Tyson hav all lost a few fights. Benny & Billye wd ding dong, hurt each other badly if they fought again. They were on par with each other, each will hav their day if they fought again & again. Just like Ali & Frazier. Brutal.
I think benny didnt lost the fight, beginning was for benny middle of the fight jackson was dominant but last two rounds i would give to benny again. Draw would be fair
I was lucky to see Daryl fighting at the Taekwondo World Championship 1979 in Stuttgart....there also was Benny "the jet" Urquidez, starting for Mexico. These two guys are the best fighters I ever saw in my life....
It’s true when they say once in a while a Greek warrior arrives on the fighting scene with the genetics of old so many have been extraordinary they appear only once in a generation but when they do there is no doubt they are warriors with ancient blood .also all world champions .
A long long time ago. When Benny the Jet Urquidez, Joe Lewis, Rick Ruofos, Ron Von Clief, were the faces of American/Western real fighters. Shame on Bill Superfoot Wallace. In the 1990's at age 45 Bill Wallace fought to a draw an aging Joe Lewis. Bill then boasted that back in the days He Was The Best There Is. There were no internet to verify his claim. But people remember. Bill Wallace only win fights because of his fancy high kicks that impressed the judges who never seen such high kicks from American fighters before. But Bill Wallace isn't no good of a fighter, he is just a kicker good for movies.
that was a rad triangle choke. i felt that switch to the arm attack... mr. ayub is one of only two people to catch me in the most painful move ive ever endured - the double armbar
I don't care much for this medley, but I wish they played the full New Moon in Philly the other night, 9/7/23. Also, the 2 dark, brooding intro songs almost ruined the evening. Night boat and some other obscure song I didn't know. Rule #1 Never start a show with a dark, brooding slow tempo songs. Astronaut tour was a far better set list
@@davidroymartin Ordinary World, with the awesome statue LED effect was cool, but the dark tempo songs and Simon disgustingly spray spitting water into the crowd was a downer.
Trendy. Nightboat was a nice surprise. I hate it when bands I truly love only play the “Hits”. I would vastly prefer NMOM over stupid White Lines, though.
@@djkenny1202 Night boat and the whatever other slow-paced song that was at the beginning, was a goddammed sleeper start to a Duran concert. No one was dancing to that. Everyone was looking around like "wtf are they playing?" Make Night Boat a 1 minute part of a medley or a pre-show piece. Not a whole length concert tune. They already played it on the Astronaut tour. The hits are hits for a reason. New Moon on Monday, Tiger Tiger, Hold Back the Rain, The Promise, Last Day on Earth, Sunrise... plenty of far better tunes they could started with
NO doubt Demetrius was an excellent strong fighter however it was crystal clear that Bob Ryan scored more hits and easily won . This was a rip off decision.
