The best ASMR in movies, in my opinion ..... Ever after (when her step sis puts medicine on her back after a whipping) 🥺 Matilda (when miss honey makes her tea and biscuits) Secret garden (when she finds her aunts key to the garden in her hidden room) Letters to Juliet (when she gets her hair brushed) Thats all I can think of at the moment 💕🩷
I remember watching Portrait of a Lady on fire at night, I was trying to finish it till the end, but my eyes keeps on closing 😂 I love ASMR but it didn't cross my mind while watching it. By the way I didn't finished it cuz I slept, I continued it once I waked up.
Great video. When you start it with a LOTR scene, you know it's well made. From a young age I had this deep connection with rain; rain would make me feel alive. That Shawshank rain scene is a great scene too. There was one scene you missed, the upside down car scene in Jurassic Park, what a great rain. Rain makes a sensation where the outside world stops, and we pause with it. We pause to hear the rooftop, we pause to hear rain on ponds, and frogs and cicadas at distance. It's a very spiritual feeling. For instance, rain kisses. There is a movie in my memory where a couple is next to a barn, and rain begins; they decide to stay outside and kiss in rain. In my memory it is Ghost Rider, but it's very likely to be mistaken; think about the poetry however, how poetic it is to have shelter but decide to face rain with your loved one, kissing. There's so many rain scenes in my memory. Count of Monte Cristo, Hamlet, Macbeth, Game of Thrones's Blackwater Siege, multiple rain scenes in Vikings, I believe there's one in The Castaway with Tom Hanks. The quidditch match in Harry Potter III which isn't even that good. Wherever you look, there's one rain scene worth remembering. And those are all rain scenes that were made. Imagine the rain scenes yet to arrive. Yet to happen. Are we talking cinema or real life? Yeah...

Some weirdly specific scenes I liked growing up: -the two palm reader scenes in Love Potion Number 9 -the scene when Sister Ligouri quietly brings Mary a pillow in The Trouble With Angels -the scene when the old man finds Sassy and takes care of her in Homeward Bound: The Great Journey -the (deleted) scene when the receptionist is talking to the plant in The Break-Up -Dakota Fanning’s cut scene in the DVD menu for Cat In The Hat -the scene in Sweeney Todd when Judge Turpin is in the library with Anthony -the scene in Paulie when the janitor is flipping through books/taking notes -the scene in the cartoon Anastasia when she has reunited with her grandma, the one with the drawings and the crown -the scene in Where The Heart Is when Novalee wakes in the hospital while Lexie preps her breakfast -the wand shop scene with Harry and Olivander in the first Harry Potter movie -the turtle dove tree ornament scene in the toy shop in Home Alone 2 -the scene when Harry writes to Tom in the diary in the second Harry Potter movie
The scene in The Wedding Singer where his ex sings wake me up before you go-go in this whispered tone is the first time my ASMR was activated, at least to my memory. I would replay that scene constantly and wonder what that feeling was!
