HI JASON, ITS A GREAT PODCAST, I LANDED HERE FROM REDDIT, I AM MOHIT FROM INDIA AND THIS HELPED ME IN BUILDING A LONGTERM STRATEGY FOR MY ECOMMERCE TRANSITION I AM MAKING...... THANKS
Here in Brazil Mercado Livre (the same Argentine company as Mercado Libre) is huge. I can't live without it, as Amazon is cool but not as necessary, especially for auto parts. New or used. I would like to have access to more parts for my Ford Focus because what's built here is not always of the best quality. At least Autozone has started their operations here. Our parts market is not that "professional" as we would like. Regarding the RU-vid presence from repair shops, I'll probably not need to, but if I happen to be in US someday, I would look for TRQ and 1Auto because their videos sure awesome and helped me a lot. I'll all in favor of better integration between customers and providers.
Just realised this came out an hour ago, and I will tell you for free this is the algo working overtime and recommending what I want to see now 👀👀. Great and insightful from you both!
They stopped investing enough in new battery tech. The range hasn't been expanded fast enough. If they bring out an EV with 1000kms/500miles and safe batteries, then it will go nuts.
Interesting one. I dont think youg guys left anything out. Theres a lot of Fintech here in India which have more or less automated the B2B payments, making it equivalent to running your payroll once a month. That mostly has to do with government building key instant payments infra like UPI / RTGS. I am actually surprised something like this doesnt exist elsewhere.
Yeah India is actually far ahead in terms of creating easy universal payments infra for commerce, led by the government. I suspect this is ultimately to be able to collect more tax and get rid of the informal cash economy though...
@@Jason_Greenwood Ofcourse thats the added benefit of it. Its visible in the soaring tax collections in the recent years. Just see India GST collections growth. Smart move by government, wonder why other govts dont do this...
Hey! Absolutely banger of a podcast. Thanks for this. How do companies manage it on the ERP on their end? Do they create a new PO for each shipment or its the first PO which has all these details? We ofcourse dont want the Invoices stuck because they dont the have the related PO details right.
Thank you! It was a fun one. Often the customer is happy for the PO to be the same for the duration of the subscription period. If not then there are a number of ways to tackle this such as pre-loading a list of PO's into the ERP so they can be auto-added to the SO's as they are generated via subscription. Hope this helps! Cheers, Jason
@@Jason_Greenwood Especially if you see those small retail traders who have to do as Amazon pleases. As an example, here in Germany are local wine merchants who tried to sell through Amazon. Some of those made little mistakes and Amazon excluded them from their market. It is not possible to use the Platform without following Bezos rules 1 : 1. The Worst thing was, Amazon copies products itself and sells them cheaper as any retail traider ever could. Like the Chinese.
This is so powerful. I hadn’t thought about it this way but it does make a lot of sense. In nature, there is no regard for life or destruction. Everything is just fighting to stay alive, at any cost.
Amazing educational content. I do resonate a lot with your discussion around hidden costs of employee management. Some of our clients often want staff as cheap as possible, but forget that this in most cases means compromising on quality/experience, and thus requiring more management from their side. 9/10 times we end up switching their staff to someone with more experience later on as their initial goal was saving time.
I don't run an eCommerce product site but yes, there are accountants that specialise in this and I've had a few on the Podcast even. Check out Ep 282 for example! 👍
Healthline pisses me off, I am that 1% that says no and leaves if your site kačka the - reject all, option. (Object to legitimate interest is also a must)
@@Jason_Greenwood To some degree for sure. Tho I imagine there are more ppl like me, since the option to decline them all was not present at all at first. Oh the times of clicking all the decline buttons one by one. Surely not missed. :D
This has validated my hypothesis. I’m currently building a similar project with two friends and I absolutely don’t see the need for more hands, we seem to have it all covered.
Apparently so many question asking what I need as well... seems like we all need top solution to move our old annotation file to new GA4. Thanks for sharing
Yep, GA4/GTM are really developer fucused beasts. I wouldn't be surprised if GA4 eventually supports annotations and there are 3rd party solutions out there or you could use a spreadsheet in the meantime. But not having them overlayed with the reports is a pita! 😪
Hi, can you please write me the name of the podcast? (Can´t understand just the name). I know, lot of people does not do it but, why not to put a link in the description? Thank you
