That O Line need some coaching. No way should the nose guard be left untouched. He the closest to the QB. Should be inside put protection otherwise your QB may not make it through the season
Hey, im from Jamaica. 6ft 5 inches, 260 lbs with a 4.60 40 yard. Im 26 but ive never played football. Maybe a few weeks when i trained with a former player in flag football but nothing more. What advice could you give if i want to become a tight end some day in the nfl. That is if its even possible at this point. Any advice would be appreciated
U got Ed Reed playing your FS? A FS making tackles for loss coming from dept? I know this D gives up 200+ on the ground 5 times a year. kiss so the kids can play fast
When we invert the safety to the low route area we make many plays and we use the roll corner as a second element and we disguise with feigned press but an bail-escape to the 1/3…
Good to see you there Sammy! Looong time since CW. Good stuff here! A big part of #15's drift problem is his upper body sprinting technique. Upper body controls the lower body and this guy is losing control.
Hey there! Just stumbled upon your channel, and I really enjoyed the insights you shared on gaining an advantage during a kickoff. It got me thinking about how seizing opportunities can align with the themes of purpose and determination that I often discuss on my Christian channel. Your expertise adds a valuable perspective, and I've already hit the like button and subscribed for more - looking forward to seeing more of your content!
Never defend this way.... youd get burnt deep after being burned with short passes. slot quick passes will destroy your d if offense coaches call good consecutive plays.
Dang coach, can’t even lie, u got me discouraged! Lol 😂 U said take one full day and work against it in the spring, but our coaches were hired after that. Then u said take another day in the summer. We had too much to install to get kids to learn the 3-4. And then u said “if u did t do that and u only preparing for this the week of, u are in trouble!” Well, yeah, we are preparing the week of. So we are gonna get to work and see what happens! Thank u for putting this video out though! Much needed!
I ran this same offense in high school 2006-2010. It functioned okay but once you run into a team with disrupters up front things got tough. Your guards must be athletic and have to be precise with who they’re blocking, no time to second guess
Not sure if it allows backers to accelerate quicker, but it is wasted movement. The time spent stepping backwards is more time the oline has to recognize/adjust to a blitz. Even if backsteps did help players accelerate quicker it still creates a slower blitz
What happens if the O coordinator has half a brain and runs everything to the weakside? That's what I would do against this front. Trap weak and sweep weak look really good with only one defensive lineman on the weak side.
