"H" will hold the build hologram while in build mode. Nudge with the arrow keys. Ctrl+arrow for a half nudge. You have access to 10 hotbars. Alt+mouse wheel to rotate them.
Finished watching your previous videos. Enjoying your series and watching a new Pioneer learn and explore. Don't pass up enhancements in the MAM as well. Hints collection - Spoiler free and mostly QOL things not obvious in the game: There is a lot, but you may enjoy most. - Watch for hints on the screens for keystrokes and the like when building things. - Also when building Conveyors, scroll the mouse wheel to turn it, click then lift and , then click again to change that pole's height while building. - You've got [Ctrl-Click] and [Shift Click] features for moving inventory. - Holding the Right Mouse Click on inventory stacks also gives a Pop up slider for splitting stacks. - The [ Sort ] Button on both sides is great for combining stacks and helping maintain your inventory space. - You do actually have 10 Hot bars on the bottom, so when in the build menu, pressing a number will assign the item to the number. Use [Alt-Scroll Mouse] to rotate through the 10 bars. - You already know about tapping [ E ] to change like between Conveyor Mrk1, 2, and 3.... but you can do the same with a Splitter to get to Merger and such. If you press and hold the [ E ] you get the rotary menu to select with. So would only need to place one item in the hot bar, and [E] switch to the others. Great for foundations and ramps. - When pointing the mouse reticle at a building/foundation/... [ Click Middle Mouse Button ] to quick start building that item. - Holding Ctrl helps line buildings up... even adjacent... try from different angles and you'll see. Building while standing on a machine or something elevated really helps lining up the bigger buildings. - In the build menu, click the [+} or [-] icons above items you want to build to "track" resources on a list on the right... or Right Click and add to the To Do list. Can be helpful to help plan your numbers quickly. - The To Do list also has note fields if you want to make notes to plan or remind yourself what you are doing. - You can mount a Splitter/Merger directly onto the end of a Conveyor Lift.... - Try getting a Red Berry and dropping it in the ground in front of the Lizard Doggo. - You probably noticed "connecting" two free style place buildings together can be tricky and annoying, BUT freestyle buildings can be placed more easily with the landscape. If you desire, when placing your first "foundation" on the ground for something, hold the [ Ctrl ] key and it will snap to a Global Grid they added to the game for us so we could always more cleanly line factories up.
Hints: - Long press to "throw" the Nobelisks. 🙂 -- You can press [ N ] for the in game calculator and universal codex search dialog. I'm sorry, I tried not to laugh. I have done the exact same thing many times before. If you find some mycelia and work down the left side of the tree in the MAM, you may find something you'll love having then.... Technically, I have a trick with water pipes I do. So when Placing a Pipeline Support, between click, scroll the mouse wheel and turn it flat to thee ground. Set another one XX Meters away also flat to the ground... then connect a pip from the bottom side of one to the bottom side of the other... and you have an underground pipe like we use everywhere in our world today. (Don't worry about pumps.... any "down" elevation always goes back up to the same starting elevation.

lmao, it gets even more funny when you realise SAM ore is useless.. you cant put it in the Sink :( why not just block the hole with some foundations at the top ?
Yeah. Just a simple hint on this Early Access Satisfactory... The WIP items are Sam Ore and show spheres and such that talk in your head. Those will not be useful until they release 1.0 with the Story Line (Hopefully end of the year, or early 2025?), so do or ignore as you like with those. 🙂
Wow, You seem to really love that hole :D Thank you for all the laughs! Easy subscribe! Just remember, the bacon mushrooms are edible and will give you a fair amount of health back. It was a bit sad watching all your work to mine the SAM ore, but see it as a learning experience.
May i say sound like your German/Aussie or Asian/Aussie. Not that i care just have a hobby of linguistics. I hope your not offended because i mean none. Am probably wrong but vocal tones and expression of certain syllables. Like i said it a hobby. People are judged by looks first then speech.
