In Rhino, you could simply use the Shell command on two boxes to do it in less than 10 seconds. The positive point about Rhino is that the interface works better for an architect who works with dimensions and accuracy. Blender is free and provides many features, but the interface is not so easy when considering dimensions (needs more time). Architectural Modeling on Blender is like using Photoshop and Illustrator for drafting instead of CAD software.
