Her computer doesn't like Duolingo being run. None of them do. Duolingo is advertising spamware. You sound like seven days of Duolingo French. What's the big deal? You'll do way better with any alternative.

Yea I saw her saying, I'm gonna do a unit per day.. I thought there is no way she can. 2 or 3 hours on duolingo make my head hurt. Then when I saw her half doing lessons I thought, yea you might pass, but that's not gonna prepare you... they she mis pronounced some words. How did I know it? Still it was impressive to see her learn so quickly, I hope she had not forgotten and that she makes a new video proving me Wong bc I an a1 on french Duolingo

Ducklang app is dope for learning French! It’s super simple, and you learn words fast without any of the boring stuff. The app’s emphasis on learning words in context makes it so much easier to expand your vocabulary.

Completing the first THREE sections of duolingo only gets you to top level A1, you have to do 4 to get A2 so even A1 is optimistic. Keep going though! You will improve!

Where’s Quiktrip? Here in Wisconsin, there’s a Kwiktrip in practically every town. Edited 3 mins later: Had to look it up. What’s the Difference Between QuikTrip and Kwik Trip? Locations The main difference between Quiktrip on Kwik Trip is the number of locations they have and the regions they operate in. For Quiktrip, it has over 800 locations in over 10 states spread out in the Midwest and Southern US with the list including North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, Texas, Georgia, and more. As for Kwik Trip, it has over 600 stores in three main states in the upper Midwest US - Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

I just saw Lamont’s video and thought I’d check out the original. I used Duolingo back in the early days when it was still OK, but when I’ve tried it more recently, I just found it so frustrating. It just keeps repeating the same words over and over and doesn’t let me move on. It’s soooooo slow. Needless to say, I don’t usually use it anymore. There are far easier ways to learn a language. It reminds me of elementary school when we had to write all the spelling words ten times each even if we already knew how to spell them.

The first thing I typically learn in any language is pronunciation. The biggest things I noticed is that you'll want to pronounce ch as a k sound; c followed by i or e makes a ch sound; and gli makes kinda like a lyee sound. 🙂 The channel that helped me a lot with the basics of Italian was Italy Made Easy. PS: if I recall correctly, you'll always want adverbs to be attached to the verb. Ex: Parli bene l'italiano. That's why Duolingo considered that one sentence incorrect.

I suggest you to combine chatgpt and lingq, that way it automatically generates the audio and you can learn better, save words, use flashcards etc. I'm italian, the AI not doing a bad job... but as you mentioned the listening part is important and you are gonna be much more confident speaking and reading if you have a good pronunciation
@KateandNate24

Yeah, I would definitely like to try LingQ! From what I’ve heard, if you can get into it, it is one of the absolute best resources to learn a language!

Immersive translate is also a better way to learn a foreign language. It is AI powered and incorporates search engines like Chatgpt Gemini and DeepL to help its users learn foreign languages.

i usually use chatgpt as my vocabulary builder and usually asking differences between close verbs that have similar meanings etc. its a great tool to ask for meanings of words and u can literally also ask it to refer to a spesific dictionary on the internet so u can make sure its legit too and it creates pretty solid example sentences. id say experience is 8.5/10
