Thanks for being honest. So many times people don't give their honest opinion. I think it's a reasonable price for a bunch of people but it doesn't surprise me that's it's not as high quality as you'd expect. I like your nails I never saw nails with a yellow tip, that's really cute.
Im a RN here in Canada for the last 20 years, and it’s the same here. The system is broken. I’m interested in becoming a travel nurse just to help me get debt free faster. And if you’re gonna be treated like crap and have all these heavy patients. Might as well get payed better and have a more flexible schedule.
Amazing video. I definitely like how you said you don’t want your kids to go to day care. Like why pay someone else to watch you kids. 100 percent agree. We don’t have any kids yet but I’ve been a bedside RN the past 8 years and I am so tired of bedside. I have gotten denied from CRNA school 3 times already so now I have to pick a new avenue but honestly I don’t think I want to do NP either. I am a local travel nurse and do like the flexibility but at the same token not as much benefits if I was staff. Maybe I will pursue a masters for nurse manager or education. I really don’t know I have to do some more research
One more thing to add, the receptionist that check my family in looked at us as if we stank and she got upset that we didn’t leave our stroller downstairs. 🤷🏾♀️
The rolls had potential but just didn’t do it. They looked amazing but felt like they were undercooked. Kinda doughy and not salty enough for my liking. I’m spoiled by red lobster cheddar bay biscuits.
Come with containers and a baby stroller. They will try to make you keep your stroller downstairs but we said no. Lol. I took my leftover chicken home. What they gonna do with it? Give it to someone else? Lol
I feel you.. I agreed with everything you said about the food. . I felt the food wasn't of a famous cooks standards. You would think the food would be taste tested by her standards. But no definitely not.
By accident saw your review, thought it was more about your nails then the food. Not to be shady, look at your video and look at your dark creases on your knuckles. social media people who use hands, It's not pleasant to see wrinkles, dark shade on your knuckles when showing anything.☹
It's a shame you find natural dark skin "unpleasant" to look at. You must have a very hard time navigating in a society where black people exist. I see comprehension is a skill you haven't mastered being that I was speaking about my experience at a particular restaurant during the entire video. No apologies here, I'm proud of my natural dark and lovely skin. Since it offends you, you are invited to keep scrolling and stay off my videos. Good day.
What a silly response. I never understand why someone would come on someone else's channel to post ridiculous comments that have NOTHING to do with the video. So sad and lonely you must be. Please don't hate on the beautiful melanin. I can only imagine how you must look. So very sad......
This video is so accurate! As an NP for 3 years I definitely have regrets. Like you said, more responsibility for the same ( sometimes less) money. Our healthcare system is so broken😢
I hear that from so many of my NP friends. It's actually sad because you have all these talented NPs that are not truly given the respect, prestige and pay that the position commands. In reality you all do SO much. I wish our Healthcare system would get it together! Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching!
A lot of people pursued higher degrees for the pay (in my opinion). When the panorama hit and the money shifted to those with the under grad degrees you found hundreds of graduate degree nurses working right by their side. What this tells me is the graduate degree was for the title and the $$$. Not necessarily because they wanted to leave the bedside... On another note if I pursue a graduate degree it would definitely be MSN in education
I couldn't agree with you more. Which Is why I had to do some soul searching and ask myself if I had the right motives for my life. I ultimately decided not to do a master's at this point. Doesn't make sense for my lifestyle. Travel Nursing is where it's at for me right now. I choose when I work and how much I work- best flexibility. Thanks for watching!
I definitely agree, at that price point you definitely want everything to be delectable and amazing. We enjoyed our meal, those rolls they give you are amazing.. but like you said.. it's about the same as you can make at home. If you want reasonable family style food at Myrtle Beach, I recommend Victoria's Kitchen, it's so good, friendly people and not too far from ocean blvd.
I felt all of this I’ve been a nurse almost 5 years. Last year I was burnt out and really just over all the hospital/department politics on top of being grossly underpaid. I jumped into travel nursing last year and so far I can’t see going back to staff anytime soon. I can honestly say I’ve fallen in love with what I do again 🥰
Thank you for this video. I have an over production of saliva. I feel so embarrassed sometimes that I have to be constantly spitting out. I think I am going to consider taking pre/probiotics 🤔.
Thanks for watching and I'm glad it helped you in some way. That over production of saliva was very surprising to me. I'm pregnant again and I'm experiencing the same thing! Hang in there, we got this!!
I did the 4 and 4 too I had the fried chicken ,fried chicken, ribs, pot roast, and shrimp and grits. My 4 sides were Mac and cheese, okra , yams, and greens. The only thing that was good were the Greens 🥬. I didn’t need take home boxes because nothing was worth taking home.
If u want reasonably priced food..just go to Cracker Barrell. That's real southern cooking ! At these franchises owned stores like Paula Deens.your paying more for the name. Lol and u can't eat the name. I would not waste my time .
Love everything you said, travel nursing is the reason I am moving to usa, it is not a common thing in other countries, and being able to truly love your work does make a lot of difference. People don’t get to know how stressful our job is, and we do need breaks every now and then!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly!!! Nursing is SO stressful. The best way I have found to manage that stress is to take scheduled breaks throughout the year. Good luck on your journey to the USA. It is interesting to know that other countries don't really do travel/contract nursing. Be sure to come back and let us know what you end up doing!
I just came across your video today and it was a blessing. When you said" wasting time filling out FMLA paperwork and trying to convince supervisors of why you need time off". Literally a lightbulb went off. Because I am currently in a situation where I'm a caregiver for my mom. Attending my mom's multiple appointments at times has made me be viewed by my employers in a badlight because it has affected my attendance. I have cried in front of my supervisor unintentionally and was angry at myself for doing so. A change is needed in my life. I am definitely going back to nursing school. I am currently a school health aide and you have proven that there is a way out. Again thank you for making this video!!!!
Thanks so much for watching. I totally understand the caregiver delimma and trying to work. Alot of times bedside nurses aren't given the same allowances as nurse managers or other educated professionals. We are treated more like factory workers. It's sad given all that we do. But when I started travel nursing I was able to command my own time which has made all the difference. Good luck to you sis!
"When You Do What You Can, God Will Do What You Can't" - This is Wonderful and Thank You for standing strong in your Christian walk and giving God all the Glory ! I am your sister in Christ, I am a 72 year young white woman who God brought your channel across my path and I am very proud of you and what you have accomplished in your young life. I wish I had been more responsible with money when I was younger and because I wasn't, I am still having to work full time for both income and to continue to beef up my 401K account, but that's OK because I love my work and I am also in the healthcare industry like you are. God is so good !!! Bless you !!!
Praise God! And thanks so much for watching. I pray God continue to give you strength and excellent health to press on towards your goals. I pray He blesses you with surprise gifts this season! It means so much that you would take time out of your day to share some love! God bless you and I am praying for you and cheering you on!
I'm happy to know you were impacted in some way. My journey is far from over but I'm so glad I'm not where I used to be. Thanks for the new sub! I visited your channel and subscribed right back at ya! Thanks for watching!
I’m glad I came across this video. I recently decided to get serious about starting my debt free journey and it’s wonderful to see someone coming from a Christian perspective. Thank you for sharing sis!
This was such a great video. I like that you were so real and transparent about your journey. It's definitely not easy to break old habits but with God we can!
I live in a major metropolitan area. There are so many hospital systems around in the neighboring cities. The furthest I have gone is 1 hour. So I guess I am saying that location helps alot.
