I am new to harmonica, but I've been a musician for many years, and as a result, I am aware of reeds, and the delicasies of musical instruments, and the high cost of their maintenance. However, I did recently purchase an, East-Top Harmonica Repair Kit, and thanks to you, Sir, I now have a better understanding of the various tools in the kit, so, let me thank you for your no nonesense, comprehensive approach, and discription of each tool in the kit. Oh! Regarding the Water vs Oil, I would not use oil, since it has the ability, and tendancy to hold dust and dirt. Distilled-Water - to avoid mineral build-up - is the way to go... Again, thank you very much, and stay well!
Well, I know this is 2 years old, but I have a B flat Crossover in my Amazon cart for like $135 CAD without tax, and the Ninja B flat is like $35 with a 6% coupon. I have a Ninja G, and it seems good, but I'm a beginner, and wasn't sure how it good it was. Also got a set of specials, but the Ninja is 1/2 to 1/3 the cost...and what am I losing with it? not much from what i can tell. Watching good players makes you think the instrument itself is good, lol...when actually, it's mostly up to you. I learned that from playing guitar.
