After a year of owning this, I really dont know how i lived without it. The remote directional control, the spot lock themselves are good as gold. I used to have to be captain and mate for my kids. Now i get to fish too. The quiet motor doesnt chase the catfish nor the other fish away. Support is bar none, exceptional! Thank you Garmin! I've never had such a good customer experience!

Yeah I can't afford flight so I don't need Jet Lag in my FR 165... Overall no good or even decent features for FR165 even with up coming 20.xx update. Sad..
I think this collar is ideal as a back up collar for my TT15/25 but the price point for the collar and the subscription is just too high and not very appealing for what it is. Just my opinion but I think $200 for the collar and $25 for the subscription is more appropriate. My local Garmin dealer talked me out of trying it because of it's price point.

Thank you for your comment. When setting up your data fields, you can select the number of fields you see on one page. The more data fields you have, the smaller the text will be. If you select to see fewer data fields on one page, the text will be larger. I hope this helps. -KB

I wish we could get a good smartwatch with a 38mm size. Not everyone with a small wrist wants to miss out on all the good features of other garmin watches :(

I have a 16 foot jet boat that i'm thinking about getting this for. I will only use it about half of my fishing, so I don't want livescope hardware/transducer mounted on my boat. The maneuverability of this bundle is my main draw. Would scanning with this package from the side of a boat work well?
Garmin, you are selling $1000 watches and your videos are an employee filming themself at home…? Don’t you have any marketing budget to create inspirational marketing content? Your marketing is so misguided, it’s as if you don’t even know the difference between your own watches. Consumer messaging overlaps between models and you even have a video basically saying that the vivoactive5 and the venu3 are more or less the same thing. Why would you say that? You could pull in so many more customers to your ecosystem if you cleaned up your marketing messaging and upped the quality on your content.

I had mine on order even despite the extreme price. The news of the upcoming Fenix 8 Pro has got me holding off now. I can't justify $1600CAD for a watch that'll just get upgraded in a year.

From the below comparison chart link, you will notice that the Enduro 3 and fenix 8 - 51mm, Solar have the same display resolution, whereas the fenix 8 - 51mm, AMOLED has almost twice the resolution. Thank you for your question. Speaking for myself, I get about 2 weeks between charges with my fenix 8 AMOLED in gesture mode. This includes one workout per day (either indoor or outdoor) and sometimes with music playing during my workout. I also use the flashlight daily (it's just so convenient in low-light conditions). Of course, battery life can vary based on numerous factors and use cases. I hope this helps. - KB
I have the 7x Solar and considering the 8.. but... unsure on Amoled or Solar again... I can't find anything about how long the amoled screen lasts... think I might just go solar again. Did you go solar?
Thanks for your question! Unfortunately there is no real way to secure the included ice fishing transducer to the transom or trolling motor on a boat. You would need to take a look at any of the transducers linked below to make the most of your bundle when the ice opens up!
