I also recommend for you and others the Thompson Chain Reference Bible, the Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible, The Archaeological Study Bible, The ESV Study Bible, The Holy Land Illustrated Study Bible, The NLT Illustrated Study Bible and a nice Bible Atlas.
Maybe they made the Prayer Calendar with the Genesis to Revelation reading guide so that it could be used as a 'stand-alone' system? Maybe they didn't want to necessarily sync it to the other 'Bible in a year plan'? I don't know what the price comparison is between the two, but if one is more affordable than the other it might be helpful for those with a tighter budget? Just a theory! I really don't know much about either product, so I could be way wrong! As for Bible marking, I find the Crayola Twistables to be the best! They come in lots of colours, so you'd probably be able to find a close match to your current highlighters. Thanks for the update. God bless!
Can you tell me if there are verses missing from this Bible? I have seen reviews where this is the case… Like someone pointed out that Matthew 18:11, John 5:4, Act 8:37, 1 John 5:7 were missing (to name a few). I was hoping to purchase this but don’t want to if that’s the case.
It sounds like a wonderful idea, but I don't know if I could last a whole year! I think I would get so bored not being able to buy stuff...I do a lot of online shopping and love looking forward to packages coming! I just have no stick-to-it-ivness! I hope you succeed because your goal of getting out of debt is admirable. I will pray for your success. 🙏❤
thank you for the prayers! we're in a situation where we don't really have a choice. we have to pay off this debt if we're going to do things like buy a house, get a new (used) car, or have another child. you can totally do your own version of this, like "no-spend days" where you're only allowed to spend certain days a week. or you can do every other month or something. I have a friend who budgets $100 of fun money for herself every month, and she doesn't go above that. so you could always do something like that as well
Hi from Australia! Just found your channel and subscribed. I am looking forward to seeing how you progress through your plan of reading through the Bible in a year....I've tried it often and succeeded only twice (and I'm 63!). I just don't work to a schedule very easily, so maybe you will inspire me to keep to my plan for this year. I've started The Bible Recap plan, and so far I've got through 9 days, so will have to see how I go, I guess? I love to see young people with such an enthusiasm and love for God's Word...takes me back to my younger days...I was born again at 14 and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Nothing could ever top it! Thanks for sharing your plan and reminding me of the importance of daily study and reading! God bless your efforts, sweetie!
this is amazing to hear! The Bible Recap looks like a great method to use for reading through the Bible. I'm considering using that for my next go-around!
