The transition to Spike’s roaring Swordfish at around 2:50 is simply beautiful and never gets old. Countless things to say about this 7 and half minutes of animation mastercraft that others have pointed out. Still a piece I revisit time to time.
3:20 Oh I never noticed, but I think the movie is trying get across in this moment that Spike and Faye's questions are essentially the same. Vincent is in control, yet he lives a dangerous life. If he's still alive its because he wants to be. Just some good screenwriting worth appreciating :D
How many soldiers would say things like Vincent said. "It happened when I went to ... a long time ago..." All those shells hocked, traumatized human beings. A soldiers life is a sad life full of burdens
I first saw this almost twenty years ago when it played at an indie theatre in my city. I hadn't even seen the full series yet, just a handful of episodes from Adult Swim. My jaw hit the floor and stayed there the entire time seeing how beautiful the animation was in this scene, especially the sequence at 3:22.
I like how even though it's a dog fight, Spike uses his surroundings and let the enemy essentially take themselves out. They couldn't maneuver out of thr way of debris, or flew into objects.
Spike must be part of the halcones. Argentine airforce wich in the Malvinas war fly a couples mt from the sea so they confunse planes computers and radars. They are famous for the rasant flys to this day
I know is not true but again, it was NEVER confirmed that Spike was deceased. And remember Edward wasn’t sure if she was coming back or maybe she just needed to get away to feel like she belonged somewhere. But I always saw the movie as the REAL ending of Cowboy Bebop. Yes, think whatever you like but looking back. Jet and Faye could never get along. So, if I have to imagine the movie as a true ending for a person who wanted a simpler life, yes. I’ll carry that weight of it.
The ISSP SWAT or whatever unit they deployed gives me Helghast Killzone 4:36 Vibes. I love the details of tactics, equipment and vehicles. The Martian Military looks pretty cool too.
@@mookiestewart3776 I’ve heard! I watched the show a year ago, but moved on to evangelion before I even knew there was a movie so I never got around to it. The music is fire so I have to at least for that
