You don't have to take the door panel off, you just take the speaker grille off and take the mirror loose. No reason to unplug the wires, you just need it loose to remove the trim. My ex girlfriend used to call the door panels the "door". I've never heard anyone else say that.. lol
What is the process for reinstalling? I've had the rubber bend when trying to slide it back into place, but it also doesn't seem to want to "snap" back into place. Wondering if it would snap bac into place if I removed the mirrors.
Thank you for this video. I see that you removed the chrome trim together with the rubber. Are they one piece or do you just decide to remove them at once? I have to replace the only weather strip rubber on my E34. First I need to snap the chrome trim from the rubber and then attach it to the new rubber. But honestly, I am a bit afraid to separate the chrome trim, I do not know how it is attached to the rubber and I am afraid of damaging it during the removal. Do you know how the chrome trim is attached to the rubber? how to snap it? so far I could not find any picture/video about its removal
In this case here, the car is only a four cylinder. The cheapest 3-series BMW you can get. So in essence weirdos who do this are trying to fake the funk and pretend it is a better car. Unknown to them that anyone with decent knowledge of BMW can tell it is a 4 cylinder from the exhaust. Nevertheless, every debadged BMW is a four cylinder pretending. You never see a 6 or 8 cylinder debadged.
@@MrThisIsMeToo not true. A lot of us debadge. It looks way cleaner. I have a 50i and some of my friends have m3 /m5 and we are all debadged. Looks 100% cleaner.
