It kills me how people on here are saying that they're happy for him that he turned his life around he didn't have to turn his life around he always had his life together. Nascar really worked this man and his family over And made him the scapegoat. I feel bad for Jeremy Mayfield and his family that they had to go through what they went through because of nascar. I wanted to see more racing and less picture taking outta him. Looked like that particular night his ride was actually pretty good. I'm glad he is running on dirt.

I’m not judging him and I’m happy he is having some success in racing but one thing that stuck out in my mind.... He feels jaded by nascrap and has had to sue them and they don’t want him anymore.... But he sure does wear a lotta “Mayfield/nascar” gear...... Ditch the nascrap gear JM we all know the back story and the sooner you distance your name from nascraps name the better off you will be.

Comebacks are always tough and racing Super Late models is extremely tough. I don't care what DW thinks local racers can drive as good as anyone. NASCAR hasn't cornered the market on great drivers, just bobbleheads.
If he had done what Brian France said, he would have died years ago. While Brian is in rehab for his drug issues, Jeremy looks the same and has been winning races. He didn't have anything to clean up.
Hard to out run crandell Turner ,Randy nichols and the rest of them driver at toccoa they have turned a million laps on the track but a top 5 won't anything to be ashamed of
I've watched 3 of my brother in law's make many a lap around that track I can remember when the back stretch was covered in kudzu that's been many yes ago when Mr cl pritchett and Mr Arron gailey and a driver our of Spartanburg SC Mr Lee macallister was tough to beat there but I also remember when a 55chevy and ford falcons were the top of the line cars lol
I wish Jeremy all the success that he deserves.The no tolerance policy of NASCAR at the time of Jeremys suspension was very hypocritical based on Brian Frances well known uses; Karma bit him back.

What mistake? NASCAR screwed JM. It was a hatchet job from the beginning. Mayfield was taking a prescribed medication for ADD. Which is an amphetamine. NASCAR first charged JM with using amphetamines but then later changed it to Methamphetamine. Mayfield cooperated and his doctor records were passed on to NASCAR about his condition and the medication he was prescribed. But NASCAR refused to allow any outside testing on the samples and then the samples were destroyed so they couldn't be tested. All of Mayfield's outside tests proved Negative when tested for the lowest amounts of amphetamines. So, I ask you again. What mistake? The biggest mistake was trusting Nascar and their one and only agent who did all the testing. Why NASCAR did this to JM's career is another story entirely. But it appeared that Mayfield was the example Nascar was going to use to show everyone that their new drug policy had teeth. So NASCAR destroyed Mayfield's career in Nascar. Regardless of anything that was proved later or potential reinstatement. Mayfield's career in racing was over. He was broke from the legal bills and without sponsorship or a ride. What you were saying had good intention, but Jeremy has maintained his innocence and has refused to submit to NASCAR's recovery program. So to suggest that JM used drugs other than what was prescribed, is terribly disrespectful to Jeremy.

I’m all about second chances and JM did get the screws put to him not only by Asscar but his team owner too I never swayed he was guilty or not i support JM then and I’m still a great fan JMR 🙏🏻🙏🏻

He has a natural talent.In early 2000's saw him win Cup race at California speedway(Fontana).He was in the pits over 10 times ,went 2 laps down , had hood up on every stop for overheating issues, blistered his back and feet from heat.He was a savage in that #2 Penske Mobil 1 Ford. A great funny dude who is super cool and one of the best .He had no problem telling Earnhardt senior that he was #1 on a few occasions .Every one and every family has dark shit happen in their lives.So what!You get over it and go on.Hope he makes a comeback into NASCAR or maybe get with some top drivers and start new Stock car series(NASCAR is really sucking these days with stupid unrealistic point system chase bullshit)
Funny thing is he tapped Earnhardt 1 time at Pocano and you think he's a hero. He couldn't have tied Dale's racing shoes. How many championships did he have again in a Ford that was way quicker then Earnhardt's car ? That's what the fuck I thought..................ZERO !!!!!!!!

He's a great guy that made some bad choices and he's payed dearly for those bad choices. With that being said if he wasn't famous he'd be living in a NC prision.

Must be trying it again....I saw some videos from several years ago in a #2 and he could not hardly steer it out of the wall and never saw anything after that until this. Glad to see he is back at it!
He's a good guy that got caught up in drugs he was guilty he's lucky he's not doing 20 years in prison. He got caught with tens of thousands of dollars worth of stolen goods guns race cars and race parts. He was in my yard about 8 months ago looking at a 50 Ford pickup I had for sale he's driving a roll back truck for a living now. I like the guy but he should have attended the road to recovery program NASCAR offered but he chose not to. Meth is a terrible drug that ruined his career I don't live far from where he used to live when he was a up and coming superstar everybody around here knew he was guilty. His first win he tapped Dale Earnhardt out of the way on the last lap and took the win from him. Great guy that succumbed to drugs it's sad but true.

Unless The France family got together with the district attorneys in two different county's to perpetrate this fraudulent story just to wreck his career. It's legitimate convictions.
