ima put these here so i can sing along while looking: a little footstep in the night a starry echo in the sky and a captivating sigh in the amber fluorescent lights the trees all withered and dry only serve to heighten the bitterness the shine in your eyes the tiny autumn colored leaves all fly around me in a breeze to a place i couldn't be and yet the pull of the wind as it clung to me ever seemed more like love than an act of greed i laugh alone a one and only i see a figure i swear i knew within a window out of view a haze of silver sunlight it flickers fore all fading tepidly in the flowing memories i hear a whisper seducing me until the morning comes oh hold me closely darling~! under the stars i cling to you so sweet the lying~! we can't reclaim the memories the heart that you entrusted to me darkness so vile i cling to you a time dividing back when we meet each other you were the light guiding me.. ~ i see a figure i swear i knew within a window out of view and i whispered softly the parting from the darkness ever coldly and even though i can never see the one my sorrow surely needs we'll meet again in dreams so hold me closely darling~! under the stars i cling to you so sweet the lying~! we can't reclaim the memories the heart that you entrusted to me darkness so vile i cling to you a time dividing back when we meet each other that joy i won't recover you were the light guiding me..~ under the stars i cling to you so sweet the lying~! under the stars i cling to you so sweet the lying~! darkness so vile i cling to you a time dividing darkness so vile i cling to you a time dividing
I can't help but wonder why Gackt left this band. All I can say is he has an angelic yet addicting voice specially with this type of music/setting, I wish I found Malice mizer sooner 😭😭 now I'm too addicted to listening to their song
¡Hermosa canción! Ataraxia logra conectarnos con la naturaleza, la historia, con nosotros mismos. Hay canciones que son solo para deleitarse y moverse suavemente.
How melancholic yet hopeful. I cannot get enough of this song no matter how many times I listen to it. It is quite amazing that a song made almost 30 years ago in a language I largely do not understand can elicit such strong emotions of longing to be with someone you truly love yet have lost. It really speaks to the transcendental nature of music as an art medium, as no matter the temporal, cultural, or spatial distance you are from a piece's origin, one can connect with it uninhibited.
