Im watching from Australia and only discovered this type of marching band a few days ago and now Im addicted. I dont understand the meaning of touching the ground with his head and also the "prancing" ???? Can somebody please enlighten me. thanks.
There’s a tremendous guy who was DM there. He’s a doctor now and recently got married. It was fun to follow his path. He made a great impact during his tenure.
What he does looks more physical than what the football players do (not regarding the part where you get slammed or stomped on or tackled or pushed or struck in any way).
This man has come so far from his origins, he was the first baton twirling drum major for my local high school’s marching band, mentor of last year’s Ohio State drum major Braden Deemer, and friend of my cousin. Hope he is doing great! Greeting from an alumni from his high school band from Howland township Warren, Ohio
Of all the amazing OSU drum majors -- all amazing -- you are The Best!!! We are all very admiring and very impressed by your kindness, humility, exceptional talent, hard work, team play, persistence, highest standards, and very positive impact. Thank you for all you do, and best wishes throughout your future.
You have no idea how lucky you are in the US, simply because of the huge population you have, loads of money etc. It's normal for you to have such things as these wonderful people events; no such thing in Australia; no people, no money.
