The Building Jay’s Way channel features video content focused on behind the scenes footage from the crew of the Perkins Builder Brothers(PBB). PBB is a fast- growing RU-vid channel with over 700k subscribers. My channel is one of the few channels that gives viewers a peek at REAL carpenters working hard and sharing a few laughs with an awesome crew of interesting characters. In addition to working on the PBB crew, I also take on home DIY projects.
I am a hardworking, Industrial athlete specializing in Honey-Do projects around the house. With the help of my family and friends I am able to release great content showing how the average JAY gets things done!

Jay, hope you and your family and all your buddies with the Perkins Brothers Builders and their families are safe. Seeing horrific devastation due to Helene.
You’re definitely the funniest brother, not to mention you compared to the other RU-vidrs actually speak like a normal person not that stupid “gang, chat, etc ” slang crap 🙄
Thanks!! We actually didn’t get much of anything. A lot of rain but very little wind by us. A lot of flooding due to the Tuckaseegee river overflowing. Hope to see y’all soon!
Gittin it dun! The best part of these for me is how you model what a husband and father can do for his family. They may never know, but us Dad’s do. They might not let you know today, but their kids will know. You’re a good egg.
Turned out great! I wouldn't have been able to resist the urge to rip open that wall, and reframe that window properly lol. Adding the plywood to the floor, to bring it all to the same level was the right decision.
Hey Jay, great job! You always make me laugh as you do these jobs! I was wondering what the make and model of that exhaust fan? Let me know when you get a chance.
So you are telling me you would put the carpet down and then put the baseboards on top of the carpet? Everyone down here put the base down before carpeting here in Wilmington N.C. but everyone does things differently. And could you call it mudd not puddy please, LMAO love your videos
Bro mine is on the september 13 that's crazy I started framing about the same time you and Ray started framing a few years bk I been watching y'all since the beggining
Hey next time Ray is covered in saw dust chips put him in a snow globe frame (Like the snow globes we used to shake up that had water in them) and say something it aint Christmas yet...
