This is cool but the 6bt rat i'm building is going to be about 6 feet shorter. Going with the old school heavy duty look with leaf springs, duals, stacks, and the ass in the air a little. Built using a '48 dodge two ton frame, cab and butterfly hood.

Explain what....a rat rod? Well, if the name doesnt say enough, rat rods are by definition ratty ol cars that have been put together to please the owners tastes...not everyone elses. Most rat rods are built to look rusty and old...if someone thinks a rat rod is ugly then they just dont know what rat roddin is all about. That simple. ....Just like lowriders, if you have to ask why, then you will never understand.

well for one a rat rod is suped up deisel engine mad for drag racing they get pretty fast i think its a beast this to who ever called it ugly

the old detroits were 2 stroke but all cummins are 4 stroke that is a slick ride anyway you look at it

IMO wheelbase it too long, should've went with 4bt, (shorter and lighter) tucked the engine further forwards and make the bed much shorter.

nope all diesels are 4 strokes, but it's understandable why people think they are 2 strokes.

turbo's are not for classic cars i think.Supercharger suits much more to classic cars,and to the hot/rat rods.
