In that case, would you have a script example on how to create a https server using python? I tried with a http localhost, but Qlik Cloud only accepts https apparently.

I have a question related to Bedrock integration and data privacy: when Bedrock answers about the level of "feelings" per product, does it obtain the information to respond from the Internet or from the "company's" own data ?
Hi Flavio - very good question - it obtains the data from what it has learned from it's LLM NOT the internal data. All Qlik does is send a prompt which could be a simple text string with values from the data for the Bedrock connector to use. That is it - the connector does not have access to your data - unless you send it in a prompt etc - let me know if you need more assistance - Regards, Mike T

Use Brave, Mike! No more distracting ads on pages like JsonLint : ) This seems like a super powerful function. I'll have to try it out! It may help with API responses that are tough to load with key value pairs in date or timestamp format (where times come in as fields and create too many characters for the script to handle, or they need to be created dynamically).

Such a great work Mike and the team at Qlik! I didn't quit catch the explanation on how to apply background colors for each column header in the pivot table found in the custom Objects -Qlik Visual Bundle. Currently, it is only allowing one background color and not separate color for each header. Any possibility for unique color for each header? Really need this functionality if possible.

Few questions: 1. Cyclic dimensions do not allow sorting based on the measures? e.g. in the video, the bar graph was not sorted based on Sales. 2. I noticed that I cannot select individual bars to drill down under cyclic dimensions. e.g in the video, I cannot select individual bar of country Germany. (in a normal bar chart, i can select individual bars which basically filters data)
Hello - sorry for the delay - I needed to verify with my team - 1: yes you can sort on measure - just wasn't done in the video -if a modifier is used like (accumulation) then sorting is based on dimensions - 2: you can select individual bars to drilldown with a drilldown dimension - cyclic dimension is different.

Hello Antoine - Data Movement Gateway is currently implemented for a number of reasons, but is necessary for on premises sources and currently used with cloud sources - this will change in the future but not as of yet.

Great improvement, Mike, but I still think this filter still missing one very frequent used feature - the 'Select Only one Value' function with an option to set a default value or not. I know there is 'similar' feature implemented in Field setting. But still, why not in filter though? In addition, the existing Select Only One value of qlik forced all filter that using the field to have a value selected to begin with in the entire app at ALL TIMES, it is not possible e.g. if I want the same field as filter in another sheet but allow multi selection values.
So the video only shows you how to set it up, doesn't show you how it works, and then refers to another video about this but doesn't include a link to the "other videos" in the video or the description...
Hi Richard at the end of the video there is an end screen with follow up videos that should pop up. I will report this to have them add those links in the video description too for those that don’t watch the entire video and decide to stop watching somewhere in between.
1 year before I have done it by using variable and button where each time if you click the button it changes the dimensions assigned in the variable, it works in a similar way 😊

Hi Carlos - i don't think so - those uses would need to have "Basic User" or "Analyzer User" entitlements depending on if your cloud server is on capacity model or not. BUT please check with your Qlik rep to see what cloud subscription model you have.

Thanks for the Video! I also created a similar collapsible filter in my Qlik App. It works fine in most the of the cases. However, sometimes the Show/hide operation takes really some time.
Wow, thanks for sharing. It's really helpful. But, I always have a hard time choosing the right size image for the button as well as thumbnail for Apps. They do not really fit appropriately in the placeholder. 😑
Hey Pi - image buttons can be any size as long as they are in square - icon buttons without text have a square aspect ratio of 1:1. This means that the height and width of the button are the same, creating a square shape. For example, a square image has an aspect ratio of 1:1 - if yo follow that logic you should be ok and make sure you select always fit as shown in the video - it is really up to the graphics editing program that you are using at that point - if you continue to have an issue - contact us via the qlik community. Do I need to create a microsoft sql server connection using the same table for the Qlik automation ?? Or can I use the same Azure DB credentials for the automation connection. Hi Michael, two questions: How to calculate the total size of an app to migrate to cloud? How would you calculate, for example, if the application has a size of 1.8GB, its STG is 1.8GB, and data is 2GB. Every day, the data is updated with 200kb of information. What would be the best way to integrate it into the cloud? (with the lowest possible cost)
