One thing i remember about Barnsley was their...FA cup against United beaten 6-0 at old trafford in the Premier league...drawn again at Old Trafford in the Cup i thought to myself another easy win for United but the majic of the cup proved me wrong 1-1 FT after a heroic display and earned a well deserved replay...3 weeks Later Barnsley knocked out Premier league Giants Manchester United 3-2 in another epic game....❤❤

Charlie Williams. What a gem!

Cor this takes me back. I remember this game well. The Geordies were absolutely flying and top of Premiership at the time looking almost invincible. We went there and took the game to em and gave a great account of ourselves. The nucleus of our 96/97 promotion team played that night. Redders, Watson, Davis, Liddell(Eaden and Bullock in the squad too) Redders goal was outstanding and despite our unlucky loss on the night, i think this game gave our team belief and a platform to go on and have a successful season finishing 6th in the championship. Great video mate 👍
