Hey man. I have the same kit and have trouble with the kicks being equal sound when heal toe double bass…did you change anything on the module or am I just shit?
Yeah this kick tower can be pretty wobbly, but I had it setup on so that one of the rack legs was actually placed on the back plate to prevent it from moving.
Hey man one question, how did you conect the third rack tom onto the rack because I think has only space for 2 I don't really know. Sorry for any writing mistakes, English is not my first language. It's because I really want to buy the td17 and add this third tom instead of another floor tom. Thank you
Followed your channel because of this video. These things are pretty much a collector's item now. You can't find em anywhere, and when you do, they're pushing a thousand bucks for one!
Nah, Sonor don't make or service these pedals anymore so unfortunately when your pedals break and need parts (like mine after 15 years) you are in a bit of an awkward spot. I luckily have a machinist who engineers parts for me when I need them as Sonor won't anymore. If they released them today they would do so much better than when they were originally released way back in like 2003 as I think the desire for 300bpm+ is there. Another major problem you'll encounter with this pedal setup is that no venues have 2 kick drums... To get around this I had my pedals adapted by my machinist to allow the second pedal to be slaved to my rights back heel - this allows the 1 footed heel toe (back in my prime I got that to 270bpm) and also standard 2 feet method. You lose the whole 4 beater thing, but you do gain a cowbell on the left heel lol... If you want to hear this setup played incredibly well check out the band "Henker" - their drummer Morgan is that dude you've seen videos of doing silly speed on these things. At max tempo the kicks become a single audible note lol.
Nice demo of these pedals. I'm more or less a beginner drummer and i'm considering buying these for playing doubles (mostly interested punk/hardcore). Does it make sense?
